That is shocking. The whole night he was going backwards. Henderson needs time as he's young and we only signed off the back of half a good season at Sunderland but Downing proved himself twice with Middlesbrough and Aston Villa to be a top-draw winger but I rarely see him commit defenders anymore and put good crosses in. As he is our only out and out winger it is no wonder that Carroll isnt get many chances!
