Oh, I remember when you used to post photos from there on FB last year, looked like a wonderful place. I started uni too in september and I totally feel the same thinking about all the opportunities I'll have in the near future (I have a mandatory semester abroad the third year:wacky:). I also finally moved to Milan, which is a big plus.
  2. Second this. Never took part in one because last one was even before I joined

It's been indeed quite a long time *takes a bottle of some kind ultra seasoned whiskey* I am too... kinda. So, where in the world have you all been for the past months?

  7. They're totally right on this though. Rock music (in the "classic" meaning of the word, i.e. purely guitar-bass-drums based music)is slowly dying. There are still very few "rock" bands/artists that make music that doesn't sound trite, unoriginal or boring and some of them have been heavily implementing electronic sounds in their latest works (think about Kasabian's 48:13, which was extremely good). Heck, most of the best albums released this year are electronic. That being said, I'm glad to see all the band member furtherly developing what they started with GS, and I mean messing around with synths and other instruments other than their own "main". I see them pushing this new sound they achieved with AFHOD even further in the future, and maybe we'll see them making an even weirder and "sophisticated" (for lack of a better term) pop in the vein, for example, of Gorillaz's Plasic Beach. But for the time being, this is all just speculation.

  12. Hey, any signs of life?
  13. I see what you did there...
  14. If only you could see what this place was like before 2013...
  15. Came back on the 3rd actually, but yeah, I already miss Ireland. Irish people are indeed very nice, no one ever made fun of my accent and everyone was always very helpful when I needed (except the bus drivers, those were the worst). Also, Bray is probably one of the loveliest towns I've ever been to. :nice:
  16. ...or when I almost made enemies with half of the board because I kept filling the Lounge with shitposting. Good times.
  17. Oh, the times around the MX release....
  18. Did you really come back after 4 years just for this thread? Dafuq man
