I read that whole article. It was very interesting. I wish I could have a huge wedding (Indian style, as I love their culture), but it's not possible. Rationally, I'd have a small wedding at some garden, castle, park, etc. somewhere. Also non-traditional. My family's not close and spread too much over the globe for a large wedding. BTW: this is if I ever find the right person and get married. *sigh*

Whoa. That's... like wow. Most strict parents I know wouldn't want their kids getting married so soon, especially as it could be for the wrong reason. Depends on the person's culture though, I guess, as you live in the same country as me. Good thing they're doing well.

My parents are the opposite, well my mom (I don't talk to my dad about this kind of stuff). They're saying 20 is too young to get married, as you may choose the wrong person and a lot of people are still "finding themselves", financially unstable, and possibly immature at this age. It could also all crash down in the future and you'll be left in the ruins. Tell your parents that you need time to find the right guy. Have I considered it (at 19 and now at 20)? Yes. There is someone I'd consider marrying, but considering my logic, the stats are against it... and it isn't a possibility right now.
