the first half of AROBTTH is ridiculous. if it stayed at that level the whole album, it would be one of the best of all time, maybe top 100. but you gotta take the second half for what it is: soul searching, self-reflection, coping with loss. and it represents these things very well, imo

i think up in flames will sound much better as the studio version, obviously. but keep in consideration, chris had been jumping around and shouting out lyrics the whole night, so his vocals were off in the debut UIF performance

seems to me all the fans that miss the old coldplay will get what they want on this album: -us against the world -ufo -up in flames -up with the birds

lol, theres kids at my school that wear beats but don't have it plugged into anything. but yeah, beats are still really nice

i think the final jam session of ETIAW is very uplifting, i will admit though, the "wa-wa-wa-wa-waterfall!" part is... cringe-worthy
