Can Someone Give Me A Review of a AHFOD TOUR Show?
I'm going to the show in LA at the Rose Bowl and I'm interested in hearing how people's experiences have been on the tour so far. I'm going to be in the far far back and I'm worried everyone around me won't be too engaged in the show, sitting down, etc. I'd appreciate it if people could leave their reviews here especially those who sat in the far back like I will be seated. Or if anyone could direct towards any previous post on the forums that would be great too. I'm contemplating the possibility of upgrading my tickets to something closer up cuz I want this one to be special.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I can't really say any of the songs on AHFOD are bad, but none of them really evoke any emotion out of me like their past albums. Amazing Day is really the only song off this album that'll stick with me for the long haul. I can see the significance in this album in the fact that it signifies Chris finally feeling free and happy. I'm happy to see that Chris is happy, but I know that they can still do better. In my mind, VLVODAAHF and MX are their most creative and consistent albums to date, and I'm just hoping that they would set out to make really good music again. Cuz AHFOD just feels like a compilation of songs and they really don't add up to be greater than the sum of its parts. If they could team up with Eno, Dravs, and Hopkins again I would be so happy. Because those guys know how to craft songs and build on sounds and overall just make solid music. Coldplays current process for making music just seems so rudimentary... and the product as of late has just been so... bland. The "Colour Spectrum" track is so boring. Everglow is nice enough and Chris really carries it with his vocals, but it's just a plain old ballad with sappy lyrics. My god, the lyrics of the past two albums-- just AWFUL. I'm ranting here. I'm just a little disappointed at this point cuz I know they're capable of doing so much better. Whenever I put on VLVODAAHF I'm just like damn why can't they do this again. anyways I don't know. does anyone else feel my frustration

Predict the Coldplay 2016 Live Setlist
i think its really fun to make predictions like this to see how close my guess is to reality. so allow me to start *Kaleidoscope plays *walk on to Colour Spectrum MAIN STAGE: 1. A Head Full of Dreams (obvious intro) 2. Army of One [nice easy song that will allow chris to bounce around and greet people (the new in my place)] 3. Yellow (get two big hits in early) 4. Paradise 5. Hymn for the Weekend (injection of energy. at this point u realize u r properly submerged into this show) 6. Magic (decompress from previous song / great sing along) 7. Everglow (a chance for some to sit / soak in the beautiful vocals) 8. Clocks (two more big hits to wrap up the first portion) 9. Every Teardrop is a Waterfall C-STAGE: 10. The Scientist (an intimate moment) 11. Strawberry Swing (acoustic) 12. God Put a Smile upon Your Face (piano version / the next live interpretation of GPASUYF) MAIN STAGE: 13. Birds (really don't know where to put this but its too good for them to not play it) 14. Viva la Vida (next three songs are the climax of the show) 15. Adventure of a Lifetime 16. A Sky Full of Stars ENCORE: 17. Amazing Day (im confident this is their new classic. crowd participation will make you feel euphoric) 18. Lovers in Japan (my own little personal dream. if they brought this back I'd be ecstatic) 19. Fix You (obvious closing pair) 20. Up&Up

AHFOD - YOUR reviews
I am very very pleased with this album. I think every song is great except for X Marks the Spot (this track is AWFUL omy gawd lol what were they thinking). oh and also Fun I am not fond of. A Head Full of Dreams 8/10 - beautiful chorus at the end that will be euphoric live, i have no doubt. wish the disco-like intro was strung out a little longer Birds 10/10 - WOWOWOW! what a beautiful track. i loooove this song. one of the most beautiful songs they've ever done. I love how it builds and suddenly stops Hymn for the Weekend 8/10 - the chorus is meh but I love every other facet of this song. yonce sounds amazing. the piano riff during the verses is fine work by chris Everglow 9/10 - another beautiful ballad to add to the back catalog. the passion in chris's voice shines bright Adventure of a Lifetime 9/10 - this track is just so fun. i cant wait to experience live Fun 5/10 - really dont love this track. i kinda just sit thru it with my finger inching towards the skip button. i know this album is supposed to be very bombastic and grand but i think this song could have been much better if they stripped back the instrumentation. the drums sounds feel tacked on and unnecessarily EDM-y at parts. and both of their voices get swallowed up by everything i feel. i think this song had potential... but idk. i can totally imagine them performing this during the acoustic set in the crowd and a lot of us here will be like "why didn't they make the album version like that?" Kaleidoscope 10/10 - i really really love this interlude. its such an important message to take with you and the instrumentation is just lovely Army of One 8/10 - i think this one will grow on me. the vocal chopping is very earwormy and the organ sound is essential X Marks the Spot 1/10 - oh gaww i really dont understand this. its shit. Chris shame on you. Guy, Will shame on you i thought you guys were quality assurance gotdamn Amazing Day 10/10 - okay we've known this song for awhile now but it never really hit me how much i adored this song until recently. i think its one of Coldplay's all-time greats. its like yellow and always in my head had a baby and shot it up with endorphines. SO GORGEOUS. this song is gonna be so great live Up&Up 9/10 - its a satisfying conclusion. the second half is so good. love Johnny and Noel a bunch. again, how amazing is this gonna be live? overall really great. its sad to me that people aren't enjoying it as much 9/10

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
well it is a leaked version so... lets wait for a sec for the official copies to roll out lol and if by production some people mean the instrumentals then i really disagree there. Amazing Day is stunning.. gorgeous. Birds is so peppy. The little intro to AHFOD gives me disco fever. cmon peeps

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
hmmmm unfortunate to see anyone disliking this album. i think it's beautiful. i think it's obvious that Chris is out of his prime when it comes to song writing, but i love how much the rest of the band is shining here. let me quickly just say that Birds was the nicest little surprise. i think its one of their best songs ever. it reminds me of prospekts march ep

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
would anyone like to sum up the general reaction to AFHOD for me. i dont have the time to read thru all these pages

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
X Marks the Spot is really the only cringe worthy part of the album. Other than that i think it is pretty good. The take-away wasn't really "wow, that was so good," but rather "wow, i'm so happy now." which i think was their goal
-
LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
i know my opinion is just going to drown in this current flood of opinions but i am very pleased w AFHOD it's really what i expected and im completely happy with that. best since VIVA imo. not even close to VIVA, but better than MX/GS I felt Fun and Army of One were the only fillers but every other track was fantastic and served a purpose. my one gripe with it is that i wish they could have allowed a little more space b/w each track like Violet hill
