COD MW3 is kinda over-shadowing MX for me right now... but music is timeless- not all music- but MX is:D

X&Y will always be the worst album. Low? What If? White Shadows? and its 60 minutes? I can't listen to it all the way through. Look at the worst songs from MX and X&Y. The MX ones at least have redeeming qualities.

Good: if I hear one song, I want to hear the rest of the album. Bad: perhaps one more full length song would be nice. NOT Moving to Mars. and the lasting appeal on certain songs are non-existant. (Paradise)

listened to the album through about 15 times. the only songs i've listened to seperately are UFO and MX/HLH; both about 50 times. i'm trying not to listen to it nonstop so it stays magical longer :dazzled:

i think they symbolize the boy and girl character dying. and the screeching noises in the middle of the song represent the birds, or heaven, or a culmination of both. the song as a whole is describing death in a way i think. :confused:

Which in a sense, is a good thing but still. Every album needs that MEGA HIT. And with all due respect to Charlie Brown its just not as universally appealing as Viva la Vida > DLIBYH is very joyful and uplifting, but lacks cohesiveness. As good as it sounds in bits and pieces, it is too all over the place. It does remind of City of Blinding Lights, though. One thing's for sure: this album is a winner. it exceeded my expectations, which were already high to begin with. This deserves album of the year for sure. C'mon! Adele? hope it doesn't happen!! :fingersx:
