  1. I'd be shocked if this doesn't leak before 12 AM EST tonight, honestly.
  2. just at work, not getting work done... just refreshing coldplaying waiting for an imminent leak.
  3. Not only that, it's not even at least the length of the official song. Seems like a guy that got a hint of the melody off the preview and then just ran with it. I was thinking the same "wtf" though haha
  4. I'll reserve judgment for when I hear the whole thing, but I am liking it so far!
  5. On the topic of right and wrong, as I was getting ready to head to work today I caught a glimpse of the Today Show (which I don't like but whatever), and they were running a story on this sweet little kid who called 911 and stayed on the phone with the operator through a home invasion. He described the situation very well and kept the operator up to date on what was happening, and there was no way this kid was over 10 years old. He hid in a closet and stayed on the phone with the operator until cops arrived and eventually took control of the situation (yeah the two robbers did get busted and sent to jail), but the emphasis of the story was on the praise the little kid got, and rightfully so, he handled that situation amazingly and did everything correctly. What bothered me was the fact that a kid that young was home alone, and none of the anchors mentioned that at all. What the fuck? Seriously. If that's my kid, NO WAY IN HELL do I leave him home alone at that age. Why did nobody mention this? Where were the flippin parents? Is that not a relevant question to this situation? haha, good grief.
  6. This is true, you really are only a collection of thoughts and past experiences which mold how you perceive things in the future. However, I think what the book means in a realm of right and wrong and what you perceive to be right and wrong, controlling your thoughts can dictate which way you act in terms of morality, instead of thoughts (for instance if bad) control you. However, if your thoughts were good ones, would it then be ok for the thoughts to control you? As the book seems to imply thoughts controlling you could potentially be a negative thing. Damn book!
  7. I only hope this wasn't tailor made for radio. That's all I ask.
  8. One quote from this book has me thinking heavily: Control your thoughts, don't let your thoughts control you - mind warpingly awesome. Gota say, right now, my thoughts control me.
  9. So one of my classes basically revolves around ethics in health care. I love it and hate it, as I usually never have much of a hard time explaining things through words, but I just sit here perplexed on how to describe certain things -- mostly because I think so much of what we do is intuitive anyway.
  10. It's in these circumstances that I've always felt like a bit of an idiot because the response I've gotten is one in which I am considered strange for liking whatever it is "so much."
  11. Just thought I'd tell all of you that I am hungry.
  12. My allergies in general just suck. I take 100mg of benedryl each night just to keep them in check haha.
  13. Friday evening here in the EST. Best time of the day, and best day of the week. Weekend still in full view, and the week has just been completed. Not a better feeling.
  14. My nose is stuffy. For the 4th day in a row. PLEASE relief come to ME!
  15. I'd only listen to a leak if the quality was decent. I would hate a crappy bootleg-esque copy of a song I am so excited to listen to, it would partly ruin it. I remember when MX hit youtube before release and all the songs had some strange pitch of Chris Martin's voice to avoid copy-right laws lol.
  16. I feel anxious today. I finished my marketing class more or less. I hope I did well on my final, but now going into my last full semester for my Bachelors degree, and I just feel nervous about it. I always feel retardedly nervous every time I start a new class (my classes are 8 weeks long and jammed pack). I am absolutely afraid of failure. Terrified of it, so I go through this insane ritual of tearing myself to shreds before I start a new class. So every semester I always have to rebuild my confidence. I know I am a wackjob.
  17. I like the number 18. This is good.
  18. Si, my best friend is English and he says it's pretty normal for English people to go on "holiday" to Florida. How'd I meet an English person in the US? Met online through a game, and he came out to meet me in 2010. Was awesome / is coming out again this year. Hope to come to the UK some day but while in college, I am broke and don't have the time, but I'll be out there some day for sure.
  19. Jeez, I tried writing a sentence like that but my mind combusted.
  20. Good point about it being a movie.. guess that means coldplay plays second fiddle. Sucks for the wait regardless.
  21. I would highly bet it's UK first.. it's what makes sense the most I think, though I don't really get the point of releasing on different days with how easy it is to get a song due to technology/youtube/ etc.
  22. Well damn, when it rains, it pours.....tears from my eyes!
