I hated when that kind of stuff happened when I was in school. Nothing worse than doing a practice test or having a study guide, and then the test doesn't even seem remotely similar. I'm not saying it has to be a carbon copy, but I've had that kind of crap before -- it's annoying for sure.

Agree. What's frustrating for me, is sometimes I can learn something or bits and pieces by ear, and it comes together fairly easily -- other times I can't figure it out at all. I wish I could be as gifted as others who can just hear it perfectly and replicate it perfectly. That kind of stuff blows my mind.

Elton John is a pretty awesome musician to me. Also a fairly decent fan of the Counting Crows, Snow Patrol, Of Monsters and Men, Yiruma, Third Eye Blind, and a little bit of the Foo Fighters. However, I barely listen to most of these often at all. It's usually Coldplay 97% of the time for me. I play a few Elton John Songs, and they are also my favorites: Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me, Candle in the Wind, and Your Song. I would like to learn Tiny Dancer, but I haven't crossed that bridge yet. Lol. Maybe Later, want to learn some GS songs first.

What's weird about my love of Coldplay, is that no other band comes close for me. None. It's Coldplay, and then the gap might as well be the distance between the Earth and the moon. It's what I envisioned the best music in the world to be, really. I've really tried to like a lot of different sounds and bands, but I can't get into too many of them at all. Nothing inspires me musically like Coldplay does.

If Huberdeau can get his head out of his ass and go back to Calder form, that'd really help playing along Barkov. A Huberdeau-Barkov-Yakupov line would be insane.

That's not just my favorite Coldplay song, that's my favorite song -- period, and always will be. Unbelievable lyrics, and an unbelievable melody.

I am honest when I say I love Coldplay more than most everything in this world. The band makes me so happy. I play most of their songs on piano. It's crazy how a band can impact your life so much, you know? I could be having the shittiest day, but if I either play their songs or listen to them, it just, it changes everything. I am extremely ready for Ghost Stories, I fucking love what I've heard so far, and I can't wait for the television premier in a little more than a week, and I can't wait for the entire album release.

I majored in Health Care Management. Competition is fierce in the job market right now though, so I am not sure how long it will take. Some people I know have said it took them up a half year before they found anything, which is depressing lol. I am in good spirits though, all you can do is try.

I'm good. Not much goes on in life for me atm. Just work / come home, apply for jobs. Rinse, wash, repeat. Trying hard to get myself a career.

Just don't do any yellow journalism. We have too much of that in this world. Yeah, no pun intended either lol.

Yakupov is struggling in EDM, but he went 1st overall for a reason. Yakupov is likely better than any of the forwards available at #1 in this draft. I want Tallon to just pick who they thin kthe best BPA is at #1, which I think might be Ekblad, or probably is, but I have my reservations about picking a dman #1 overall, usually doesn't end well, and we already picked Gudbranson 3rd overall, and that's not working out so well right now.

But we made the playoffs 2 seasons ago, and gave the Cup finalists a run for their money (NJD) took them to double OT game 7 before we lost :(. HEARTBREAKING. I was up at 1am, needing to work in a few hours, and then Adam Henrique scores 5 hole on Theodore (who played outstanding), like a few minutes into 2OT. I was crushed. Tallon is just doing what any GM really would. All GMs should at least listen to offers. If Edmonton offers up something like Nail Yakupov, I think I'd probably take that. It'd take a guy like that to make it happen. And take that back. Nobody can be Edmonton lol. Edmonton is on a level of their own lol.

Well, there's nothing like being the minority in your own arena, like in Florida lol, especially when the Habs come to town. But hey, we're getting there. Huberdeau, Barkov, Bjugstad, picking 1st overall this summer. Hopefully Ekblad. We'll be more than an after-thought some day!
