The satisfactory, well-thought lyrics could lie in the songs we haven't heard yet. It's extremely versatile in every way, it could be their best album to date. Hurts Like Heaven has alright lyrics, Charlie Brown's ambition is what drives it though. I don't see a couple bad apples soiling the bunch, I wouldn't be surprised to legitimately find this in my top ten.

Enough Thunder is such a mighty EP. Not Long Now has DAT BASS, dat blasting sound... it reminds me of this N64 game I used to play back when I was little. It marketed horribly, but Mischief Makers was such a good game. :dazzled: Once We All Agree is so nice too. I was expecting it to be longer, but it's the perfect, desolate winter song. Fall Creek Boys Choir is great touch too. I used to think that Heartbreak was a separate song, but Enough Thunder is pretty nice too. It emphasizes his ability as a pianist and the entire EP is a nice little break from the usual, but I want to see him expanding on his electronics more.

Speed Of Sound is one of the songs that got me into Coldplay in the first place. :( I like ETIAW, but I like SOS more. Paradise is dreadfully empty, even live. They could have done a lot with it but I feel like they chose not to, to create this simple, shallow song for a massive fanbase that can't perceive lyrical depth. Chris Martin is capable of writing good lyrics, I know it, but his choice to not write like that troubles me. We have about three more songs that could potentially contain some of the best lyrics. Even with the shallowness of Paradise and ETIAW, if they can make an album that extends out to a few more audiences than it already does, then Mylo Xyloto could potentially be one of, if not their greatest album to date. I think I'd still prefer ARBOTTH and VLV though.

Jane's Addiction just leaked, methinks MX is next.

I'm still really looking forward to MX, it's actually a pretty versatile-sounding record.

I joined the forum in excitement for LP5 and ETIAW, and it all just seems really wavering right now. I'm sure it'll be good, just not THAT good. I keep forgetting that Paradise is part of this album too. And that it's representative of the overall sound. :|

Tomorrow, Car Kids, Princess Of China in high quality, DLIBYH... well, all of them.

It's kind of interesting that in that one interview they mentioned how they messed around on the accordion a lot, the synths from the song kind of sound like the accordion.

Bjork could pass off as Chinese. They should have gotten an oriental singer if anyone else. But yeah, methinks Rihanna might have been a good choice.

I'm listening to all the new songs from back in May live, I built a little playlist. :) Charlie Brown, ETIAW, Major Minus, Princess Of China, Us Against The World, Hurts Like Heaven... :D And then there's Up In Flames and Paradise, but I don't think I want to listen to those too much.
