  6. I've had both female and male doctors, but some in different fields of doctors.. I've had a male doctor specifically for GYN who is probably one of the best doctors I've had. Generally, I prefer a female doctor, but if I had a health concern then gender of the doctor wouldn't matter. I'd just want a doctor who can help me and will listen to my health concerns..
  7. Umm not quite sure. I think I randomly found one of their songs on Youtube.
  8. Hello, here's my review. I apologize, I had technical difficulties being a novice of...21st century... and had a crazy week.. Anywho, here are my thoughts of the mixtape: 1. Starts with guitar and drums. Was quite surprised when I heard the rolling of the drums. I feel like I'm on a mission... an exciting song to begin with. 2. Wow, I'm quite speechless. Who is this artist?! I can picture this in a suspense movie ( I swear it's not because Halloween just ended).. I love it! 3. Starts with nice female vocals. It has this echoey atmosphere. Actually I hear two female singers after a minute of the song... Can't wait to hear who they are, love their voices-- and they sing the lyrics super clear.. 4. This song has an interesting atmosphere. I like the melody. It sort of has a mysterious feel to it. 5. Sounds like this song is about a girl talking about her ex's new gf... I feel like this girl is going to kill his ex, haha... It has strong instrumental, so of course I love it. 6. Some reason this song of reminds me of the 70's. Easy listening and an uplifting song. I believe this song inspired the album's name “Skyscrapers”. :) 7. Starts with another nice female vocals. Sounds sophisticated and has a jazzy feel. 8. I think this song is slightly different from the previous songs because it feels more contemporary, but still has classical instruments like piano and violin and harp (I think? I don't know my instruments). It has a beeping in the background starting mid way through the song. 9. Starts with piano and drums. To me, it's hard to make out what the singer is saying but I enjoy the instrumental and very chill song; quite a few surprises middle of the song too. 10. I feel like I'm in an aquarium? I don't know what instrument in the background, like a flute? Pretty song. It's quite different compared to the previous songs. For some reason it reminds me of summer near a beach or start of spring, nice.. 11. Sorry, I'm not a fan of the vocals. But I think this melody is quite catchy. 12. The sound of this song kind of reminds me of song #10 but more dynamic. 13. Interesting strumming of electric guitar. Not sure, I feel like this song is kind of slow and too repetitive for me... Sorry, not my favorite. 14. Has both male and female vocals; acoustic and piano. Pretty song and it's quite calming. 15. I already like the beginning of this song. I feel like dancing, haha. And did you read my mind? I love the upbeat drums and guitar. Anywho, great choice for the last song of the mixtape, feel like it's just the start of the celebration or “..one big holiday..”. I'll be repeating this song for a while. This was an excellent mixtape and I loved how the songs flowed very well together. Hard to choose which ones are my favorites but the ones that really stood out for me are song#: 1, 2, 5, 8, and 15. Thank you for the effort you put into making this! I really enjoyed listening and my ears are happy. I'm excited to see who these artists are! :)
  9. Yeah! quite nice songs from them. didn't know they had a Twilight song till later actually :)
  10. yes... because I've heard many crazy ghost experiences from my family and friends... :stunned:
  11. And to my mixtape maker, sorry for keeping you waiting. I'll have my review soon this weekend.
  12. Hi Natt, I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I had a very busy week too, so no worries. :) Thank you for listening/reviewing my mixtape! btw, I'm Stefanie. Here are some of my comments: 1. The band is called Young the Giant. The first song I discovered from them was “Cough Syrup”. And I love the singer's voice too! 2. Imagine Dragons, I've just discovered about them just a few months ago and already a fan of their music! 4. The artist is Goyte. This is one of my favorite songs from him. 5. This is also by Imagine Dragons, haha. I couldn't resist on putting another song by them :) I think this is the first song I heard from them.. 6. This from OneRepublic one of my very favorite bands and this is their first single off their upcoming third album. Yup the beginning is the sound of heartbeats of children in need. 7. The song is in Mandarin Chinese by Van Nes Wu a Taiwanese singer. Honestly, I don't know what he's saying without looking at translations haha. I just like the sound of the music....and this song was co-wroted with Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic. :D haha 8. Yup you're right, this is from The Fray. :) songs 10 and 14 are both a soundtrack of a show, “Switched at Birth”(which I've been obsessing quite a bit haha), which stood out a lot to me and had to put it on the mixtape! 11. Umm I've never heard of Jacquil. I randomly heard this song from YouTube it's titled "All I Want" by Kodaline. 15. The song is in Taiwanese Hokkien, personally I don't speak the language. But I used to listen to this band a lot during my highschool days and was relistening to their songs again this year. This is one of my all time favorites from them. http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/X...GIQopWiNXkB3sI 1. My Body by Young the Giant 2. Demons by Imagine Dragons 3. Some Nights by Fun. 4. Save Me by Goyte 5. It's Time by Imagine Dragons 6. Feel Again by OneRepublic 7. Is This All by Vaness Wu ft. Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic 8. Rainy Zurich by The Fray 9. Bring Me Close by Mindy Gledhill 10. I Need You Now (Acoustic String Mix)by Kyler England 11. All I Want by Kodaline 12. Where to Now by Cider Sky 13. Underneath by Adam Lambert 14. Stranger by Katie Costello 15. 温柔 (Wen Rou) [Tenderness] by Mayday
  13. that's my childhood show! haha
  14. Partner: I've been having difficulties opening the mixtape.. :( and i don't think i'll be able to be on the forum this week. I'm overloaded with exams this week.
  15. I haven't played piano for awhile after ending piano lessons... I don't know how to teach piano but a few things my teacher taught me the past years.. She'd tell me to practice the right and left hand separately first to be familiar where the notes are. Then try playing both hands together after practicing it 4-5 times.. focus on a few lines of the song per week... She'd often told me to don't rush when playing/practicing and try not to stop even when you make a mistake.... Hope I helped a little..
