  1. I'm in Southeast Georgia, US... Like as far southeast as you can go without going into Florida or the ocean. :) Sleeping sun!
  2. I entered, and then found out my boyfriend wouldn't be able to fly out there with me since it's past the timeframe for him to request time off from work. If I won the tickets, I'd still go, but I'm more than ok with it if I don't get to. I'd normally be ok with flying out by myself, but I'm 6 and a half months pregnant now and not really up for a solo vacation to a city I'm not familiar with. :\
  3. I know I'm like a year and a half late on this thread... but I HAVE to listen to this song every time I fly. After Mylo Xyloto came out and the tour started, I flew a few times to see their concerts... so I associate the lyrics "float all over the world just to see her again" with me flying to see Coldplay <3
  4. Just finished a hot dog and half a hamburger (no bun on either). It's 7:30am, stomach hates me now.

  8. I'm back from my trip HOME to Connecticut and finally have internet access, yay. Um, I got a little camera happy at this show and have uploaded some videos to my youtube channel... and am gonna upload Viva when I get home from work today. http://www.youtube.com/user/daynamari if you wanna watch. I was in section 103 which was behind-ish the stage, so the angle sucks, but I was close to the stage so that was awesome. But this arena is so small that no matter where you are, you'll have a good view. This was one of my favorite shows that I saw this tour... not sure if it's because it was in my "neck of the woods" or if it's because it was on "December 29th best day of the year/ever"... he had me laughing every time he said that and I will absolutely remember it every year on December 29th. I'm so glad I got to go... Also, I won $60 on the HALF-CENT slots. December 29th really IS great.
  9. What great pictures... I usually bring my camera and snap some pictures and record a song or two.. or three.. but I left my camera home for this show. Yep, forgot my camera when I was going to the concert of a lifetime. I have a couple cell phone pics/videos, but the audio sucks, wahhh. BUT... the good thing about leaving my camera at home was I was 100% focused on the show. I had a blast, as did my friend who doesn't even really like Coldplay or Jay Z. He didn't want to go at first but afterward, he was glad he came. He said to me after the show, "that was the best concert I've ever been to." He's been to a ton of different concerts, too. This is absolutely the most memorable new years I've had and I'm so glad I was able to go. :)
  10. I bought tickets on StubHub for this show, and I admit I am a little nervous about it. Before purchasing, I did a ton of research on StubHub and found that most people receive good tickets and swear by StubHub, but of course there are some who receive fake ones. Unlike eBay, there's no way to check on the seller... I had to wait until I got my TicketFast tickets in the mail (which is weird because they can be sent electronically), googled the seller's name on the ticket, and it appears that he owns a business where he buys and resells tickets. I also searched for things like "(seller's name) ripped off" and things like that and didn't find any bad reviews on him, but I won't know if it's legit for sure until I get to the show. I usually buy tickets direct from TicketMaster to avoid scams, but I bought these tickets out of pure desperation and determination to see this show. I know I'm taking a huge risk but it's worth it to me. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!
  11. I don't have a meaningful story like others in this thread... all I have to say is that Coldplay has pretty much represented the last 10 years of my life. Everything I've been through between the age of 15-25, I've had Coldplay blaring through my headphones.
  12. oh my goodness you have such great luck! congratulations!!!!!!!!!!

Me too. I had a bad experience on a flight and it scared the shit out of me. I refused to fly for a while... which wasn't do-able. If I had an upcoming flight, I'd panic, get sick, and get depressed for weeks leading up to the flight. Once I made it to the airport, I'd beg to go back home or to the train station... and eventually get on the plane out of fear of disappointing the person I was flying to see. Flying is something I have to do to see my family though, so with a little help and a lot of work, I've made great progress.
