I have some butterfly confetti from the Viva tour. I don't remember exactly which show it's from (I'm thinking the Hartford show on 5/23/09). I don't have too much, but I have some to spare. I can send you some (for free!)... if you feel comfortable PMing me your address, go for it. if not, I understand! :) Anyway, I keep telling myself I'm not allowed to die until I meet them. Or at least one of them. I want to wait outside one of their shows after it ends and see if I can get a picture with them :) Another thing I'd like to do is see them perform in another country... but money's tight so if that ever happens, it won't for a long time! And maybe an autograph would be nice :D

I had heard Yellow and liked it, but wasn't really a Coldplay *fan* until The Scientist. In March 2003, when I was 15, I flew to Ireland. I was listening to the "radio" on the plane and The Scientist played every 1.5 hours. It was the first time I heard it and I LOVED IT! When I got back to the States, I bought their CD. Then I bought Parachutes. Then I started going to every Coldplay concert I could possibly go to in my area (my first Coldplay show wasn't until August 4, 2005 though). I absolutely loved the Backstreet Boys and Ricky Martin when I was younger, but that was a phase that lasted a couple of years at the most. It's been 9 and a half years and my obsession with Coldplay is still going strong. So to be exact, my Coldplay anniversary is March 11, 2003 :)

I searched "coldplay jayz" on twitter, and people (not many though) are tweeting that they were able to get tickets this morning. Unless they were citi preferred members?

I got impatient with TicketMaster and went to stubhub... spent $319 on two tickets to be in section 228 row 2... more than I wanted to spend. Have to re-budget for the next two months now :) For something like this, I act first, think later. But seriously, how the hell are there no tickets available within 30 seconds of going on sale?! I'm so excited :)

I just tried to see if tickets were available.. I searched for two and got two seats together. Try again! Keep trying! I personally had to have one seat refunded to me due to an issue on Ticketmaster's end, so others might do the same and seats might open up! And keep in mind, some places release seats as the event gets closer! Don't lose hope :) I really hope you read this before you resort to Stubhub!

nevermind. I first pulled up two tickets on my android ticketmaster app, and i went to purchase them and it said "sorry, please try again" and brought me back to the search page... which is when i had to resort to getting a single ticket because there were no pairs left... turns out the card HAD been charged... so i have two tickets in 103 and one ticket in section 14... uhhhhh. trying to call ticketmaster but it's busy busy busy. as much as I'd like to sit in section 14, the tickets are a christmas gift to me from my mom (yeah, I bought my own gift with her money... she doesn't know how to use the "interwebs" and told me to buy them)... we're going together... so I'm gonna try to get the single ticket refunded. on that note, I highly recommend against using the ticketmaster or livenation apps on android phones ;) and yeah, that was hell trying to get those tickets. the platinum seats are crap... well not the seats, but the greedy prices.
