  1. Is this a reference to Oasis' Falling Down song? the first line of the chorus is "catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly."
  2. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-2048220/Chris-Martin-Coldplay-Gwyneth-Paltrow-album.html . So much for that. :P
  3. In the Howard Stern interview, Chris told he gets 40% while the rest of the band get 20% each. I was always under the impression that they all got an equal share of the $$$ (25% for those of you who failed math class! :P); afterall, it's something that they'd been saying all along. Tell us how you feel about this.
  4. I'm not hearing any bass save for some bass string-esque sound towards the end, unless my speakers have gone to shit. Johnny's playing the guitar, Chris the piano, Will (judging form the live performances) is playing the xylophone. Then what is Guy playing?
  5. Is that Guy's bass as sort of an echo to the drums throughout the song? In the ACL performance, Guy doesn't start playing until the second chorus.
  6. Wow. The live version really is so much better. It could still do without the oohs at the end, though.
  7. I'm currently watching the Itunes stream and Paradise isn't on it. After Charlie Brown it cuts to Life Is For Living and then Clocks. Huh?
  8. Yes, but it would be a lot better if it had been a 'smaller' song. There's a terrific song in there, but the production is too much, I feel.
  9. What's more disappointing, really, is that Rihanna's going to be on another song. :(
  10. I gave it a 6/10. It's not bad by any stretch, but it does sound quite like a Timbaland-produced One Republic song. I expected more after hearing 30 second snippet snippet.
  11. It's a bit too poppy. I like that Chris isn't using his X&Y falsetto anymore, though. And is it me or does it sound like Chris says 'espected' instead of 'expected'?
  12. I wish they'd play the Don't Panic Glastonbury 2005 version again...
  13. Do they actually play the keyboards during Viva La Viva?
