  1. Chris' voice changed so much after he had surgery on his throat. It used to be much more raw and deep.
  2. From what you've told us so far, she doesn't sound like someone who would be a very good girlfriend and it sounds like you two have too much history to just be friends. Those texts she sent you were inappropriate. Good luck with it all anyway.
  3. Don't call Connor an idiot. :veryangry2:
  4. No idea, I seldom use make up but I guess some people have really bad skin and don't want people to know - so they cover it up with foundation and stuff? Beats me.
  5. There was a girl I went to school with who would pack on foundation so much that there was a ring around her face that had clearly defined borders between foundation skin and normal skin. It was nasty. Whenever she wore a white top it would end up turning brown due to makeup falling off.
  6. I agree Dee. I haven't been here all that long but just in the last few weeks this place has had a serious drop in quality. It seems like most of the posts rely on in jokes, which leads everyone who isn't directly involved to start posting less because they can't relate to the context. You're kidding, right? Dee uses a word you don't like, without any extra connotation, and you play the "I'm offended!" card, then go on to accuse Dee of simply not caring about the most common cause of death in the western world? I think if anyone has the right to be offended here, it's Dee, because you just seriously questioned what type of person she is for no reason whatsoever. Being offended /=/ being right. By the way, Dee's use of the word actually falls within the definition of the word cancer in most dictionaries: 2. any evil condition or thing that spreads destructively; blight. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/cancer 3. something evil or malignant that spreads destructively http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/cancer an evil or destructive practice or phenomenon that is hard to contain or eradicate - "racism is a cancer across Europe". http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/cancer
  7. Heh, I've actually seen this guy live. He played at a friend's university. I like his music, I didn't know he remixed Coldplay.
  8. FKIN WANKPOT
  9. Your dad went to watch porn. It required a credit card to watch. Your dad stole your wallet whilst you were sleeping. He ordered porn with it. He forgot to put your wallet back where he found it. Hence why the wallet was on top of his computer. I just CSI'd this situation. Thank me later.
  10. That's a nice little routine, I'd love to see you do it sometime...... :wink3:
  11.
  12. Rudy, you're a pillar of common sense. If Reilly ever walks past me I'm going to steal his wallet.
  13. That's a stupid place to put it. How have you not had it stolen yet?
  14. It means Car Kids. (CK). It's a song written in 2009 that was supposed to be released on Mylo Xyloto but never was.
  15. Coldplaymum, try the Guardian. It's a pretty nice balance between entertaining and actually true. Oh wait, this is the lounge and apparently we aren't allowed to talk like that. Wait: YOLO   penis  DONT ASK SEROIOUS QUESTIONS. AND BY THE WAY - ISNT MARK KIDS ANNOYING? LOL L8 GUYS.
  16. Oh I'm sure Chris (and most people on the set) are aware that some of the costumes and tones are Japanese. The disturbing thing is they don't care. I am just gritting my teeth and praying that it doesn't end up looking like an 8th grade drama performance with the theme: "Asia".
  17. This is the first time I saw the pictures, I thought people were joking about this. All I can say is: What the fuck. It looks like they are just throwing everything stereotypically "Asian" into a video. What does the concept of the story actually have to do with Asia? The only "Asian" thing about the song is the riff. The story and Mylo Xyloto as a whole have nothing to do with this. I didn't like the Charlie Brown video, but at least it made sense with the themes of the record. Japan is not the same thing as China. This is like saying the USA and Germany are exactly the same country because they both contain mostly white people. It's nonsense. China and Japan are actually very different nations that have thousands of years of separate, unique history and have shed a lot of blood fighting each other. I think Chinese people would be incredibly frustrated with this. It would be like someone making a video about France and containing nothing but German icons. -- But anyway, I will not rant any further. Fact of the matter is that we aren't going to see the video for a few months and we shouldn't judge until we see it. But dear God, it looks so bad.
  18. Connor!! (I have to put two exclamation marks because one is included with your name and the other is me being excited to see you). That's good! They are releasing a new single from their new album really soon I am so excited! :D :D :D :D
  19. I think your problem is you're talking about American sport.
  20. Depends what kind of graffiti you are talking about. Most of the graffiti I see is either 6 foot cocks scribbled into the sides of walls or racist/sexist remarks etched into toilet walls. The really cool street art kind of graffiti is rare. There are also implications of property rights you have to take into consideration. Whilst some graffiti artists may view their work to be inspiring and beautiful (which it often can be) a property owner may not want that marked on the front walls of their factory or shop. Also, regarding the Charlie Brown video and the rhetoric seen in it - I think it went far beyong "young and free". They stole a car and torched it. That's a dick move.
