  1. Lol did you read my post? Viva didn't have the codes on it - so there is no way of knowing who leaked it. The leaker was comfortable in the knowledge that they won't lose their job/their friend's job over it because the leaking was anonymous. MX does have encrypted codes, so they will be able to find out who's copy it was who leaked it. If EMI found out exactly who leaked it, they'd certainly charge them. That's a huge, huge, huge deterrent.
  2. I wouldn't be so sure. All pre-release copies of MX (including the band member's) are encrypted with unique codes, so if it were to leak, EMI would be able to track down exactly who it was who leaked it and when. They would then presumably face legal troubles because it is unlawful to leak the album before release. I can't see why anyone would risk that and lose their career over leaking an album.
  3. Unfortunately I actually think so. The album is a contrived, long and messy attempt at trying to be "The best band in the world". The band went through a rough patch during X&Y and it really shows, they had to reconnect and change their style to recover and thank fully they recovered amazingly. That's my opinion of course. I think it's purely awful.
  4. Nah, you're still wrong fella. The ETIAW release was an EP - it was not a single release. Major Minus was not a b side, it was a track on the EP. So my previous example still works.
  5. Music e minor c major e flat Stop fighting with each other, you're all beautiful people. So act like it!
  6. Don't Panic was on an EP before Parachutes was released. Should that have been left out too?
  7. You're right, your hands are hot. I'd totally bang your hands.
  8. Because they have disgusting food so they need to get help somewhere along the line.
  9. You should probably see a doctor about that. Or a vet.
  10. That makes no sense potato.
  11. That's not a bundlr, that's a tumblr.
  12. It's the opposite of a walrus but very similar to a hyena.
  13. I'm going to assassinate Chris Martin. With sex.
  14. I think she's got an amazing voice and she's beautiful. I didn't like the idea at first, but I'm warming to the idea of her on MX. I think Princess of China will be amazing.
  15. Blah, that's far worse than I imagined it sounding. It sounds really cheesy. I don't like the traditional musical theatre sounding voices on the top of that song.
  16. The voice effect fits in brilliantly. It's like he is yelling this paranoid message over a microphone. I picture a grey industrial big-brother 1984 esque city with a man yelling propaganda over a megaphone. I think it's amazing.
  17. I know nothing about music labels, why would universal suit them better? I'm interested!
  18. I never, ever understood this line of thinking. It's this ridiculous "out-of-sight-out-of-mind" way of thinking. I'm sorry, but I don't view anything in life like that. It deeply saddens me to learn that a song that means so much for many people is going to be trashed on Glee. Yes, the performances will be great I'm sure, yes it will be high production, but it's going to lessen the amount of force that song has for so many people. It's far deeper than that. It's about the rhetoric behind it and the concept of selling music to a television show. Baw8cc, if you're annoyed by something then why are you so apathetic to it occurring? Just because you aren't watching it doesn't mean it isn't happening. Nonsense. There are plenty of bands that would never, ever sell their music to Glee. "Etiquette" or not. In fact, Coldplay from a few years ago would never do it. It seems the Chris Martin of 2002 agrees with me: "We wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if we sold the songs' meanings like that" Heh.
  19. Guys, it's combusting the concrete. Not "come bursting".
  20. I'm sure he'd gladly do the same if you ever visit Sweden and have to speak Swedish. ;).
  21. Lol, fuck off troll.
  22. aw shit. I really don't want this to happen. I really, really don't. Fix You means a lot to me, and the more and more I see it appear on television shows the less and less the memory of the song means to me. I think Thom Yorke said it best: "If you sell your music for like, a card ad, then you're selling everybody's memory of that music and robbing them of it. The whole point of music is about triggering memories for people. That's what it is, that's what it does. If you rob people of that, then whats the point of being a musician?" As much as I think Mr Yorke is a total douchebag, he is right on the money there. This really does dishearten me to learn this.
  23. How am I supposed to find the specific interview on youtube? There are thousands. It's there though, trust me. It was done just after Prospekt's March was released and it's Chris and Jonny sitting on a couch with a Propekt's March backdrop behind them. Sorry, that's the best I can do. I'm sure someone on here knows where to find it. I first saw it linked on the forums somewhere.
