I agree with this fully. I have been an Oxfam volunteer (though not at a Coldplay concert) and we did not get meet anyone from the band nor the band's management (except once where one of the band came along quite by chance and chatted to us). All the volunteers were very dedicated to the Oxfam cause and it was really great. But they would be the wrong address for this. Gretat idea. There will be so many of us there so maybe more posters? I will be there on Thu, Sat, Sun but have no means to make a poster as I will be busy 24/7 till I board the plane to London ;)

Sorry you felt that way - felt totally different for me (was my 7th concert, too btw). But then I was standing in front of the stage. You did not have to give back the Xylobands - that was voluntary!

No, Chris broke off Everglow and after it became clear that it was nothing that could be fixed quickly he said, ok then let's play the next song first- which was LiJ. Don't Panic is missing on the setlist, but it was the first song on the C-stage.

They played longer than I had expected them to. And yes, they played Amazing Day, Don't panic and the requested song was in my place. Did not understand that choice as the request video was...let me say not good. No offense to the guy, but...:eek: When the piano did not work, Chris told the soccer joke, then they played LIJ first and when they had exchanged the piano (poor stressed roadies!) went back to Everglow. And to the C-stage they walked down the steps at the end of the runway(where we stood:)) and through a cordoned off corridor through the audience.

FOS1 right and left are both really FOS. You have to go in at separate entrances, but once in you can walk all around the stage. FOS 2 is behind a barrier, not close to the runway.

Finally I have an internet connection! I was here at 11:30 but Batman was here earlier. Not many people queueing, most came later, we were the first ones in. We have FOS 1 right tickets but there is no barrier between left and right, so we chose to stand at the C stage, right at the barrier. Pretty easy to get here, most of the early entry people stood right at the stage. The FOS 2 people seem not to be happy as it's not really FOS...

What a stupid policy! I was lucky and bought via ticketmaster but I feel for you. My advice is to ask them if you may pick up the tickets the day before. After all the ticket office is open every day, the tickets are ordered and paid for so I do not see why that should not be possible. Somebody else posted the same problem here in one of the other concert threats - so maybe it's a good idea to make a general enquiry with G&T?

Yes, the tram from the arena to Gelsenkirchen station goes once every hour - the last is at 0:39 - from there you can get the train to Essen. You can look it up here: www.diebahn.de Put in "Veltins-Arena Gelsenkirchen" as starting point ("von...") and Essen HBF ("nach...") as ending point .
