HA. if you read what I originally wrote ,you'll find I actually said 'fair enough if you like the song'. I'm not criticising people for liking the song, merely hyping it and comparing it to Yellow, VLV etc. You obviously did NOT get the middle aged reference and he clearly is a sheep for threatening to 'beat people up' because they prefer old Coldplay to new.

Lots of things I wanna say in regards to certain Coldplayers who hyped this to the point of no return only for us to be shot down upon hearing this work of monstrosity. Unfortunately i'd probably get blocked and feel bad in hindsight. WTF. WT(actual)F. Live, let's be honest, will see this song as a great anthem rocker. But that's not the Coldplay I want to listen to on the train. It's not even a good house song. it's got synths. that's about it. and is upbeat. Call me a pessimist but I preferred being called middle aged (i'm 17) due to my love of Coldplay's depressing music than being the fan of a band who 6 year old fangirls listen to, and who collaborate with Avicci and Rihanna. The song ISN'T like YELLOW. nor is it like VIVA or ETIAW. Even waterfall had more instrumental value than this. Has johnny be hung? why can we not hear any electirc guitar? Wasn't GS meant to be genuine coldplay, getting back to their indie-acoustic routes? OH AND for the record, change is good when done in a good way ie muse. Change is also good when lyrics go from good to amazing. Parachutes - amazing AROB - amazing X&Y - every song was similar sounding :laugh3: but amazing. Viva - amazing. pure art. dark, bright, colourful. best album they've bade. MX - shitstainly overproduced GS - seems to be a few piano songs, Oceans which is great, Magic which is so 'Now this is' album worthy it's ridiculous. Another's arms seems decent despite the atrocious lyrics. Depressing. All the hype for this and most of us are too sheep-like to admit we don't like it. Fair enough if you actually do but to say 'OMG COLDPLAY U R AMAZE XX LOV U U CAN DO NO WRONG' but then openly criticise any top 40 act makes you a liar and a hypocrite. #WeWantOurColdplayBack

18th, this streams. 19th, album comes out. 6 weeks later, they come here to London. This is f***ing fantastic! Please lawd almighty release a box set. The artwork for this would be orgasmic. drooling.

overpriced bit much, £75? I appreciate it's for charity but honestly a) it won't be a full blown coldplay immense gig, and b) dynamo, lily allen and rizzle kicks (with 40 minutes of Coldplay maximum) don't warrant £75.

I got up at 7:45, then 8:45, both times thinking i'd missed the concert, and shit scared. Checking my phone, I decided to go back to sleep. I eventually got up at 10, put my clothes on and decided to take my o2 Xyloband with me, hoping this would attract a possible mate. One of my friends who was due to come with me had left Germany in the morning, so I had to wait until 11:20 before I could depart for the local station (Golders Green) and I was constantly thinking the queue would be disgustingly long. I reached GG station, and met up with another one of my mates who had been there for fuck knows how long. We decided to ditch a mate who was long, and headed for Arsenal station. eventually we were all there, and my muim, who also had a ticket, queued for us while we explored the amazing stadium. we waited for 5.5 hours, until the gates opened. I had convinced my mates to run behind me to the front of the Xstage, and to my surprise they kinda of did. I literally jumped across the pitch and had a BEAUTIFUL view from the very front of the X stage! After Rita (who i'd happily fuck) and Robyn (who i'd happily avoid and never hear again) were done, it was Coldplays time to go onto the stage. Fireworks, massive balloons (which a drunk person bought for £50 at the end), and amazing confetti made it an awesome 'fucking' concert (Chris certainly loved that word). Everyone danced and jumped to Charlie Brown, and I got SO close to Johnny, Chris, Will and Guy it was insane. Me and my friend shouted ''WE LOVE YOU CHRIS'' and everyone around us cheered and I think he smiled too!! Simon Pegg during SoS was too much, and everyone exploded with Joy. After the final song, 60,000 Coldplay fans left the stadium, half of which were pissed or high. I twice started the Viva chant and got everyone going, despite my voice being completely obliterated. 10/10, best night of my life. I loved it.

videos like Strawberry Swing and LiT-ii are 10/10. this is NOT amazing. some people are just biased bigots who assume because its coldplay they have to like it. Jesus, think for yourself?!

if they wanted to make it like a really cheesy old chinese kung-fu film, it wouldn't been amazing. they could've had effects like the Knights of Cydonia video and had out of sync dialogue and singing. This video is just appalling. I would be a way better video director than the shit Coldplay hire. the first 30 seconds or so is just chris walking. for fuck sake, the next single's video better be above average
