Thank you Lily. This is the show that saved Coldplay. Chris often talks about it. The band was doing these radio festivals with heavy metal bands and being seriously abused by metalheads who didn't think of them as heavy rock. Bottles with suspicious liquids were being thrown at them on stage. Chris was depressed and wanted to go home. Their manager said, let's go do our own gig at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, then you can decide. He says they decided to put everything into this gig, stop being shy about performing, admit to the world that they are as good as they think they are, etc. He was very satisfied with the reception the band got here. He talks about it every time they come back down here.
