  1. I thought so. I better nap for a couple of hrs.
  2. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but does the event start at 9p PST?
  3. When you tune in to Ryan Seacrest On Air radio show just b/c you know that later on he'll be hosting Coldplay at the Nokia Center. I enjoy it every time he mentions tonight's event.
  4. Awww! Just the other night I was watching Coldplay 2005 concert at the Round Chapel where Chris climbed in the audience to give Noel a hug during In My Place and made this huge jump down back on the stage.
  5. Thx. I have my events mixed up. I might have missed the streaming too.
  6. Perhaps Ryan Seacrest will ask them again at the iHeart Radio event on the 10th. When he asked Chris back on June 30th during a radio interview, the latter could only say they weren't going to be there. Apparently he wasn't joking. For me it really doesn't make any difference whether they're in Montreal or at the Olympics, but it would be great exposure for the band to be at the Olympics. Apart from tennis, I don't know how much of it I'll watch anyway. But for the band, it would be great exposure. After all, isn't that what Chris always says he wants, for Coldplay music to reach as many people as possible? I was so busy with family and business in the last decade that I wasn't paying that much attention to new music. It took just 1 evening of relaxing with kids and watching a tv show where a contestant sang Fix You, and the rest is history. Just imagine how many more fans they'd gain by playing at the Olympics. But enough with my ramblings.
  7. Perhaps will they close the ceremonies then? Otherwise it's a serious dissing of the most successful UK band since the Beatles. My gut feelings tell me we don't have the whole story.
  8. You're furiously looking for pictures of the band's arrival to their next event.
  9. Phew! They finally made it to LA, 1 day before the Musicares event.
  10. She actually didn't write this, did she? Yeah, the end is cute.
  11. I know, I know. Yet I keep hope alive.:) They could easily reschedule 1 of those gigs if they had to. Yup, Gwynnie said in a recent interview that the guys will be spending at least 10 days at home after 3 weeks of touring. It's a family friendly schedule.:)
  12. I'm still hoping against hope. Who the hell is in charge of the Olympics in the UK and doesn't beg the biggest band in the world who happen to be Brit to be front and center at the Opening ceremonies? Coldplay have been the best Brit ambassadors all over the world. Oh well! We shall see!
  13. Maybe we can start a petition for next year? I know it's an American thing but the Stones rocked 1 yr, and I'm sure they've been other foreign performers as well.
  14. The whole time I was thinking, Coldplay would have rocked this place big time with Viva, CB, and Paradise. Oh well!
  15. Oh I saw your post alright. We've debated this before, so I know where they're scheduled to be on opening day. I'm just saying it doesn't make any sense. Why wouldn't they want to be at the Olympics? What really happened?
  16. How do you know? Any sources? Could it be taped? I really don't know what's going on? I don't see Coldplay passing up a chance to perform at the Olympics opening ceremonies in their own country, and I don't see them not being invited.
  17. It makes sense since it's a tribute. I can't wait to hear which one they perform.
  18. OMG! They came back? I had to turn off the tv and go to bed with them trailing 15-17 with 3:39 left in the 4th quarter. And I've been dreading to check the final score. Fantastic! Now I can turn on ESPN and checkout the highlights.
  19. Why shocked? It's a great theme song for the Olympics if you think about it. And yes I saw it. Most importantly, more publicity for the song.
  20. I'm a bit confused. When they show the guys winning their awards, they seem to be sitting on the right hand of the stage, upfront, with Sir Paul. That's where she seems to turn as she reaches the stage before she starts reading. Like in this video, they are to the right of Blink, not the left.
  21. The NBC Summer Olympics commercial features Paradise. They just played it on the Superbowl coverage.
  22. Happy bday Federica (or Frederica according to Chris). When was this? What day?
  23. At 0:55 I can't tell, but at 0:10 she clearly takes the time to strike a pause, facing exactly where Coldplay were sitting, front row, before she starts reading. That's why the crowd is going wild.
  24. Yup! I can't believe the Grammys cameras didn't capture Chris's reaction. [ame= ] [/ame] At 0:10
  25. I think I've read her interview about an unfaithful boyfriend early in her life. It wasn't even any of those high profile boyfriends they're naming.
