They posted the news yesterday on the Live Nation and Ticketmaster facebook pages.

Right now, Ticketmaster sells extra tickets for Lyon. So I got a ticket for June 22. 3 concerts in a row in the same venue, never did that. 🙂

The album won't be out in the summer, it's too late for that... We now have announcements of albums that will be released in july (Porter Robinson), august (Paul McCartney), september (David Gilmour).

It's probably just an impression. For a year, my audiophile equipment was broken so I just listened to Coldplay via Spotify or ripped tracks. It's really a pleasure to listen again to my cds... and this time, my "new" japanese cds. I heard a long time ago that Japanese cds were pressed differently than the european cds, but it might be a myth.

I just came back from Japan and I bought several Japanese editions of Coldplay cds. (except Music of the Spheres because I think that the Tiesto mix is really dull) Did anyone compare the mastering differences ? I think the Everyday Life cd (with Flags in it) very clear, compared to the European cd. But maybe I'm crazy.

One thing that puzzles me for many years, but I cry a lot when I listen to some Coldplay tracks. It happens of course when I see them on tour, but also when I sing songs on karaoke or listening with my headphones. I get really emotional and I don't understand why. I mean, it's sometimes the lyrics, sometimes the melody or the subjects. I'm 51, male, I listen from The Beatles to the Orb, from Atom tm to Prince, but I think it's the only group that gives me so much emotions. Am I the only one ? Emotional tracks for me : Everything's not lost - Sparks - The Scientist - Warning Sign - Fix You - Strawberry Swing - Reign of Love - Don't let it break your heart - most of Ghost Stories - most of Everyday Life - Coloratura, etc...
