I agree with this. Though it was stated that the comic is up for personal interpretation as well and does not specifically set what MX is about, I feel like many of us have already created solid ideas about lyrics and stuff that might be a little thrown off or maybe even ruined by connections in the comic. But if the comic came first, it would of been cool to read it then listen to the album and connect the two together instead of the other way around. I don't know, my fear is some music might lose its meaning for me personally because it isn't exactly as deep as I thought, it is just a part of a plot about two lovebirds. But, again, I guess the way the reader interpretates the story is the only thing that matters.

Well, the comic will actually be released on Friday to a lucky handful of people at Comic-Con and on the Coldplay online store site, correct? Or does the variant cover literally mean a cover ONLY? Or is it a comic book with a limited edition cover different from the ones being released in 2013?

Is anyone on the form going to Comic-Con? And I do think since they have a break in the tour, they might be at this announcement?? Or they could totally surprise us with the Coldplay Theme Park or maybe a fast-food chain or something haha! :laugh3:

Is anyone else sorta on the border of liking/not liking this? I mean the whole concept that the album was developed from this is pretty cool, but I don't yet know how I feel about a comic book and possible movie. But, if they did start selling action figures of the band, I'd be interested ;) haha!

Hi there! I really do see where you're coming from. I love the raw emotion in some of their older albums and performances. But at the same time, I feel like tomorrow night will be a whole new experience none of us have experienced before. Like the Observer said, I have a feeling it will be a very spiritual concert. During the MX era, I believe it's all about connections and bringing everyone together, and Coldplay is really going to pull that off tomorrow.

The kissing? I mean really. It was awesome until it turned into a teenager make-out session. I love the whole neon and lights idea, but the music video reminded me of....I don't know, just not as well thought out as their other videos are.

I know the photos are quite invasive and all, but what do you expect? Three high profile celebs at the restaurant. Paps will never respect a moment like that because they are making their living off of those photos. I agree with everyone, but I bet there has been way more invasive photos of other famous people released. Such is life.

The other day I had a dream that I met Coldplay. When I met Chris, I fainted (typical fan girl!), and then my dream fastforwarded to me being at the hosiptal. Chris put my dog on me (???) and the whole band was there to make sure I was okay! Ahhhhhh it was great, Chris was so close to me! I feel like that seems like something the guys would do because they are just so sweet to their fans.

What a weird question, I know :P Like all Coldplayers, I'm hoping to get a close glimps of the boys at the concert! Finding the stgae door seems like a good bet, but how do I? Just wander around the arena? Thanks everyone, hope your day is well! :)

^ Agreed. While helpers may of had easiest access, why would one jump to conclusions? When I think of a helper, I'm thinking of a true fan who stood in line for hours, to be rewarded with a task to do. In my opinion, the people who get to shows early like that are the ones who care about the well being of Coldplay and the fans aswell. But there are wacko people out there, so it's understood. This feels like elementary school where everyone is punished for one persons misbehaving. Thanks a lot eBay butthead. :furious2:
