It was a great interview. Chris wasn't quite his normal self during that interview, and he admitted it. He let people see the uncertain side of himself. Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction to find it!!

I guess I'm weird!! (There's an opening many could take advantage of! :laugh3:) I love the song and have since the minute I listened to the album. Do I like Rihanna? No - never been a fan. But Chris somehow saw something in her that he wanted on the song. There are songs I haven't cared for over the years,but I can't imagine ever being let down by the band. They are enjoying themselves and putting out music that makes them happy. Can't please everyone I guess. I am really looking forward to, well, let's face, seeing Chris in the video. :laugh3:

I absolutely love this. What a treat to have a glimpse into his state of mind at that time. I thought this was interesting, "...don't have to do very much promo at the moment because of being like a diva." Would LOVE to hear the story behind that one! It's so interesting to read about the state of the band, the love he has of writing songs, the joy he gets from working WITH the others creating those songs and his upset over politics at the time. I thought it was appropriate to hear him actually mention the Beastie Boys considering the happenings of late. It proves that he had the respect for them that he said he did. This is just yet more proof what a forward thinking, conscientious, caring, humble person he is. It makes me happy everytime he expresses how lucky he feels to be in the position he's in. Believe me, Chris, we love that you are in the position you are in too! :kiss:
