It will always be Paradise, but the song stuck in my head right now is Lovers in Japan/Osaka Sun Mix. I was never a fan of VLV era for a dumb reason: Was just about to have my 2nd back surgery when it came out and the Subtitle, "Death and all his Friends" struck me as quite morbid and scary. I later loved VLV the song, but didn't know much about the rest of the album. Now I have it and just love several songs, but LiJ is my favorite right now. I can tell I am in a bad place right now, when I did't even have the energy today to get excited about trying to get tickets on the US pre-sale. @coldplayisawesome and @alisbe and @FlockOfBirds: I am blown away by the skills all of you are studying!!! What talent. I am of that generation where learning new technical skills like yours is so much harder. I recently learned to use a software program to transfer my training design skills to online training design. You know what that field requires? Strong graphic design skills. User interactivity skills. Everything you are learning. I am SOOO envious! I also encourage you to look into the whole mobile and online training design field, especially if you like freelancing as an alternative. I can give you ideas via PM about where to look to learn about this field if you are interested. As you are all creative, you may enjoy this. I am learning that this field, while rooted in solid training design skills, is also all about what you can envision to do with the tools and how to make it look appealing. That supports learning. you are the best! I didn't get a ticket today. When I went to look tonight, just to see what was available, it looked like the price for the top tickets was $10 LESS than last year. The field arrangement looked different too. I checked on $96.50 tickets, the most I would spend this time, and it took me all the way up to level 3. Ana, what a difficult situation to be worried about debts while unsure of when you''ll get a job to pay for them. Then the concert sale comes up at the worst possible time to make you feel even worse! I feek very badly for you and can kind of relate, but for different reasons. I will miss the US tour too because of our financial situation. It is encouraging that you are getting interviews. That is more than many recent grads can say. Keep telling yourself that you have something to offer these employers and expect to succeed. There are lots of studies about the laws of attraction; that is, that you can attract good things to yourself simply by expecting them to happen. "You can see the change you want to, be what you want to be. " Be confident - and focus on the problems you can solve or what you can do for these employers. That takes asking some good questions to find out what they need the person in the job to accomplish. Sorry for rambling, but I'm a former career coach. Good for you!! My husband already said "no way" for financial reasons. Emotionally, I wanted to have something to look forward to after my recovery. But, honestly, for me, this tour felt "over-produced", even though it was incredible. The commercialization seemed a little too evident this time. As you know, we missed a bunch of the show and had a really rough time with the weather. That night will be forever seared in my mind for how literally painful it was to my back, my ruined phone, my fear standing alone on a dangerous street corner trying to find my husband, etc. But I will especially remember the crowd joyfully spashing in the standing water and pouring rain to ASFOS and then chanting VLV all the way down the ramps coming out a half hour later. Those memories are what I want to be left with for this tour. I am good watching on Periscope, and like to see it even more from other countries. That is my virtual life! Sorry for rambling.
