Hi guys, Just letting you know that Princess of China has premiered on the popular BET countdown 106 & Park today. I hate the network and I hate the show so I'm not impressed but I just heard word on Twitter, thought you guys might find it interesting. Never thought I'd see Coldplay on Black Entertainment Television. :laugh3: :laugh3:

Wow!!! I'm so happy for you, that is amazing. I really hope I meet Chris eventually, the guy is seriously one of my major idols. And I don't have many of those.

Amazing. I love the visual movement this era with the colours, designs and graffiti. Too cool. Gonna be sad to see it go by the time the next album comes.

This definitely won't be their last. And I can honestly wait for new Coldplay music because I enjoy their discography so much. I just got back into X&Y like it was brand-new. And their B-Sides never get old.

1. Princess of China 2. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall and Charlie Brown 3. Paradise and Hurts Like Heaven I love the single choices (clearly) perhaps not the order of their releases though.

You guys need to be realistic, the public love something as massive as Coldplay and Rihanna, that is why when the album came out it was the highest digital selling song from MX on iTunes US and blasted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #20. The problem is if they were expecting a #1 single, which they easily could have had was they released it way too late. You can not give the general public something as major as a Rihanna feature and let it wait for records like Paradise and Charlie Brown. Without the support of it being released as an official single when it was hot on airplay, caused it to die even though it was doing very well. That's like if Eminem waited to release Love the Way You Lie as a fourth single instead of his second one. Also, Rihanna has always been over saturated on radio, she currently ran into the top 10 of airplay with her new single so radio isn't hungry for "new" music by her. I love CP and Rihanna and I'm disappointed it won't be the big hit it easily would have been stateside, but then again I'm one of the few people here who love the record it seems. :P

Mine is definitely not realistic, or organized. But I know those are all the songs I must have on my dream Coldplay set. :p

I own every B-Side digitally but I wish they'd release a box set, so I could have a physical copy.

I really hope it's the next single, if there is one.

I love the album. I just love the band and a great majority of their discography, I'm not one of the fans pissed about the new direction they took on this record, none of their albums particularly sound the same anyways, it's all just great music. I like the new influences on MX. And as an era this is my favorite one yet, the look, the feel, the bands attitude and enthusiasm about it and their stage presence is something next level, almost magical. And sometimes that makes a longer lasting impression than the music for me. Some records on the album aren't too strong but the standouts hit me hard and have stuck with me.

It's real.

I actually think Rihanna is the least generic sounding female in pop music right now. I hear a song of any genre she's hopped on playing on the radio and I know it's her. Lily Allen sounds like she's always in a daze when she sings and I'm not too fond of that style but hey that's just me.

Rap albums in general are long, it's not the standard 11-13 tracks, naturally rap albums are very lengthly.

I would love to see Hurts like Heaven out this summer! Something the general public would appreciate, it just feels so good and I love that song.
