So, Randy, who I co-host 2Beats+ with, decided to spend the month of December reviewing every artist reviewed for the show this past year in a live setting, and since we reviewed Coldplay, here is his review of their live performance. Enjoy!

For those of you who didn't see the videos I posted on this forum a couple of months ago, I'm part of a music review series on YouTube that reviews a band's entire discography and discusses the changes made from one album to the next while incorporating some comedy as well to keep it interesting. We did a two-part review of Coldplay and I posted the episodes here, but I can't seem to find them now, so just to give you some context, here are those links: Part 1: Part 2: Now, something we try to do when an artist we review puts out a new album is do a Vlog review covering the entire album track by track. "A Head Full Of Dreams" was one I really looked forward to doing and the day the album was released, I bought my copy, listened to it twice, made some notes, and we shot the Vlog that evening. These things are usually quick, but we had a lot of material to cover and I couldn't keep my mouth shut with all I had to say about this fantastic album, so this Vlog ended up being close to 40 minutes in length, making it the longest video we've ever done. Randy, my partner in the show, had a hard time processing the video and had to restart the process several times over the last few days because his poor laptop couldn't take it. Early this morning, it finally processed the whole way through and in his excitement about it finally being finished, he posted the video before viewing it. What he didn't know was that the beginning of the video somehow got cut off, so it starts kind of awkwardly. By the time he noticed, he'd already deleted the original files to make room on his laptop for the video files of our current project, so there's no chance of a re-edit now and this video is all that remains of the footage. Anyway, this will give you not only my opinion of each song and the album in general, but also Randy's as well. Enjoy!

Slightly off topic, but did anyone else notice that Elton dropped a new song yesterday? That album isn't until February though.

I wasn't sure if this was the right place to post this, and I apologize if not. I'm part of a YouTube Series that reviews entire discographies of different bands, and much to my delight, we recently reviewed Coldplay. I shared this review with a few Coldplayer friends on Facebook, and they loved it, so I wanted to share it here too. Keep in mind that my co-host, Randy, is always the harsher critic out of us both and that's just part of his character on the show. He's really very nice in person and he admitted to me by the end of all our listening that he enjoyed the experience more than he thought he would.
