Agreed. I always figure if my music dosen't work out, which is a serious option for me (my brother is in the music business and is trying to help me), I want to do show production, which does lights and such. They make good money. But in the corner of my mind I still want photography.

I took a photography class, and I adore it. I've wanted to be a professional photographer for so long, but it seems like it's becoming such a common, easy, thing for people to do, I've kind of shied away from it.

[quote="an_cat" I'm getting Anton Corbijn's U2&I book for Christmas, but I heard that's good. Of course, you can probably see all the pictures online, but I'm a HUGE Corbijn fan, and a photography buff. Can we stop having stuff in common, plz. :P I LOVE photography, Anton Corbjin is a god. So is Kevin Westernberg and Bob Langrish.

I've always wanted to read Until The End Of The World, but no. I just picked these things up. *hideshead coughfanfictioncoughcoughcoughdiesofshamecoughcough* anyhoo, yeah. The only books I have on U2 are Bono In Conversation and the one about all the songs that I cannot remember the title of at the moment. And I've read 6 chapters of Killing Bono. But yeah i pick these things up...i amazed people we sat next to at our u2 concert with everything i could tell them :smug:

White Shadows / U2 comparison
Totally off topic but a song that has almost identical bassline as NYD...No Brakes by The Bravery

I agree on all terms. And hah about Edge not practicing...I wouldn't doubt it. He's too good for practicing. And adam. hahaha. He's just so smooth, being able to bullshit his way in. He didn't take bass lessons until after the ZooTv tour, when him and Larry spent a year in NYC getting him off drugs and alcohol and all that jazz.

Wow so I need to come here more often. I keep falling off the face of this board. I've watched the DVD three times since I've gotten it. The only part that bugs me is the part in zoo station where you hear Edge's voice, and it's a close up of edge, but he isn't singing. Hamish, you need some better editing skills my friend. Otherwise, it's insanely good. My best buy didn't have the deluxe version, so I just bought the regular. For christmas I'm crossing my fingers for the deluxe version offline. Yay for edge doing the music rising thing. I love the picture in your sig, where'd you get it? i surprisingly haven't seen it. If I went to a concert and they played instant karma as the closer, i'd be a bit dissapointed. I really can't think of a better song than "40" to close..it's like...perfect. I mean, Edge on bass and Adam on guitar and Larry and his drums? That's perfect.
