  1. Yes, that's how it looks like. The organ is either pre-recorded or just a synth. And there's a little Korg-type synth on the right that Guy plays during one song. I think it was during Speed Of Sound, but I can't remember.
  2. It's probably been posted already, but if you follow the primary colours-route, you can see a Y.
  3. We did narrow the list down first to the people who had all questions right. *Who is responsible for keeping Warning Sign on AROBTTH? We kind of fucked up on this question. It should've said A Whisper and the answer should've been Ian McCullough. Now the correct answer is the band minus Chris. But everyone got that one right. (the answer was in our song-section, so...) *Chris Martin recorded the soundtrack for a movie with Ash. What movie? Shaun Of The Dead *Who said that coldplay is music for bedwetters? Alan McGee *Legend has it Chris Martin first wanted to start a boysband. What's the name of that boysband? Pectoralz *What song was only aired on Dutch radio, but never appeared on an album or single? Harmless (a lot of people got this one wrong)
  4. It's very Parachutes-like. Some people hated it, but I thought it was good. Doesn't really fit on the album though.
  5. They had to answer 5 (difficult) questions correctly and explain why they should go.
  6. Thanks to mrmiddel from coldplayfans.nl a lot of die hard fans got in. If you live in Holland and you're a die hard fan, you had a 90% chance of being there I think. Some random remarks: Square One: Didn't like it on the KRCW bootleg, but it's a great live track. It starts out with Chris singing on the back of the stage in the dark. They followed it with Politik. Great way to open a concert. I've never seen Jon and Will this passionate. Speed Of Sound: Great track. Already sounded familiar Warning Sign: Great song, but I never liked the live versions. This time they nailed it. X&Y: Didn't seem too special. A bit too many ooohohoooho's for my taste Yellow: This really was the highlight of the night. We had prepared a special surprise for the band. All coldplayfans.nl members had yellow hearts and we put them in the air at the start of the song and threw them on stage at the end. One of the most magical moments of my life. Lots of thanks to gretel for cutting all those hearts! Low: Killer track. Coldplay goes Interpol! Til Kingdom Come: Chris had to start over. An annoying drunk girl next to me kind of ruined it. I almost got into a fight. What If: If you like it on the bootleg, you'll love it. It's starting to grow on me. Clocks: Not the best version I've heard A Message: very good song. Exactly like on the KRCW bootleg In My Place: Chris sang a bit from "mooie ellebogen". We had been singing that song all day long. :) Amsterdam: This one was really, really, really bad. They completely fucked up the song. You can't really blame them, coz obviously this was a warm-up gig but they should've stopped it and played another song. All in all an amazing concert. They made quite a lot of mistakes throughout the set, so it definately wasn't their best concert I've seen. But like I said, you can't blame it. And it still was a magical experience and the one concert I'll remember for the rest of my life.
  7. Hey kimberlina, can you please send it to [email protected] or [email protected] ?
  8. Didn't even know there was going to be a sequel. The original was good though. :)
  9. Why on earth would they want to play a festival called TW Classic. Previous headliners were Phil Collins, Rolling Stones, Tina Turner.
  10. Bonjour pedro le cammioneur.
  11. I listened to the new U2 album when it leaked. It was actually a great experience. One hour after it leaked, it was flying all over the world. It was great talking to people on msn as the leak was happening. Exchanging songs and discussing them while we received them.
  12. Thanks for giving me a warm welcome. This is me:
  13. Kashmir is indeed Europe's best kept secret. I'm pretty sure everyone on this board would like them. Zitilites probably isn't the best album I own, but it's the only album I would recomend to EVERYONE.
  14. Yes Yes :)
  15. Guess who's who:
  16. Since mrmiddel will soon be taking over this forum, I couldn't stay too far behind. My name is Mathieu Steleman, I'm a 20-year old boy from Belgium (so, not from Holland), and I speak Dutch. I obviously like coldplay enough to work on a Dutch coldplay-fansite called coldplayfans.nl. I saw them three times: at Werchter, in Brussels and in Lille. I'll just give you ten other bands from the top of my head: Saybia, Nick Cave, The Beatles, Bright Eyes, Bloc Party, Kashmir, U2, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, The Pixies. My favourit movie is The Shawshank Redemption. My favourite sport is basketball, but I stopped playing it. 10 years ago. I'll post a pic tomorrow if I can find a decent one where I'm not dressed in woman's clothing.
  17. Op coldplayfans.nl is er genoeg plaats om Nederlands te spreken.
  18. Mooie Ellebogen rocks! Mooie Ellebogen wallpaper: http://www.beverbende.nl/coldplayfans_oud/downloads.php I even made a Mooie Ellebogen T-shirt. :)
