is this the final list, or is it possible they will add acts? there were rumours muse, interpol, franz ferdinand etc. would play this year...
  5. yes, another reason why they have no credibility. the new stuff is way overproduced.
  6. on 102.1
  7. Sarah! I'm in the same boat you are in. Three of my friends here are engaged. They're all my age with the exception of one who's 22 (which in her case I kinda understand, seeing as she's been with her boyfriend for 6 years and stuff). I have friends back home who are married already AND have their first child! I mean, all the power to them, but wow. That's really young to be married and starting a family....for me anyways. oy vey. my friend is 20 marrying a 29 year old. my roomates brother is engaged, he is 22 and she is 26 and they are getting married in april. my other roomate will probably get engaged soon to her long term boyfriend of 6 years. what the fuck. i was really not prepared for this adulthood stuff. it really sucks. i'm still getting over the sweet16 phase, i am so not ready for weddings. it just depresses me so much that its just more evidence that i am an adult and have to start acting like one
  8. okay people i'm so friggin excited to see something go down with alex and marissa. its going to be hawt!
  9. okay i am going to write a first post to warn those who get the oc a few episodes behind to not read further if you don't want to know what will happen.........
  10. ahhhhhhh that sounds like a good episode that i missed
  11. there were rumours they would do 4 toronto dates or something dumb like that.
  12. that looks like a painful fall! but rather hilarious at the same time.
  13. ugh all these people around me are starting to get engaged at really young ages. its really screwed up, i can't wrap my head around it. my friend who is 20 is getting married in may. i've all of a sudden jumped into this pool of everyone getting married soon, it sucks (for me, good for them tho :/ )
  14. exclamation marks. oooooh what a concept. guy is a slut.
  15. today has been an extremely shitty day. i hate the world today.
  16. ginger, you're a whorey bitch, so what? love, the slow and dumb one.
  17. oh canada and billy talent aren't really my typical genre of music but i really really like them, they are really talented.
  18. hahaha no, its okay. i guess its an obvious observation.
  19. Everyone I talk to says the exact same thing. :D aww no way i thought i made that up all by myself
  20. i was going to go to montreal during reading week but mcgill has the same reading week as me this year so none of my friends will be there, does concordia have the same reading week as mcgill?
  21. That fuckin' sucks! I know! I can't wait for reading week!! Do you have any plans?? I'm taking summer school this year so I won't get the usual 4 months like last year. :dozey: my reading week plans are to just go home and read all week and work on two huge papers. its not going to be so fun. but i already have plans for almost every night of the break!! i'm excited, i have a long list of places i want to go. and KASABIAN are doing a show during reading week :D so i'm happy i will be home for it. booo summer school. i think i will do summer school next year
  22. i generally go to edge.ca and see their concert listings, but those are only for pretty big toronto shows. http://www.edge.ca/station/sp_concerts.cfm now mag is good, somebody mentioned it already http://www.nowtoronto.com/issues/2005-01-20/music_upcoming.php
  23. is fucking terrible. they are so bad and over produced now and that new song sounds like an avril lavigne song. go and listen to songs from dookie, now that is good shit.
  24. Not much Sarah. The weather is freezing, but I hear toronto has it worse right now. School is alright. I like my program and stuff, so it's all good in that sense. How about you? How's school? The weather is insane today. It's a pretty big blizzard, I couldn't even see out of my window. Now I can see like 50metres, but still I can't see very far. They closed the school today WHICH is so annoying because its a snowday on a friggin Saturday. School is okay, the big work hasn't hit just yet. But reading week is in 4 weeks! Which means the term is going to fly by and it will be summer :D
