  1. hi sorry if this has been posted before. just found this article about the bands lighting set up of the 'twisted logic' tour. there is an interview with Coldplay’s lighting designer Nick Whitehouse. you can read it here http://www.avolites.org.uk/avonews/press/2005/coldplay1.htm there is also some pictures from glastonbury 2005 too here http://www.avolites.org.uk/gallery/your-photos/coldplay2005.htm and the 2002 - 2003 world tour here http://www.avolites.org.uk/gallery/your-photos/coldplay2002.htm all a bit technical really though :)

  5. hi the concert footage in the promo video for the track 'fix you' was filmed at these gigs. 4th and 5th July 2005 Reebok Stadium; Bolton, UK apparently the band played 'fix you' twice at the end of the set each night so they could film it getting all the different camera angles. the shots of chris walking through the streets was filmed in London

  18. i don't know to be honest. the thing that made me notice the band was the acoustic guitars and intamacy of it all on parachutes. each album to me has been a progression in sound. when i heard 'a rush of blood to the head' it was a progression on from 'parachutes'. at first i was drawn to the intimate tracks such as the scientist, green eyes and warning sign. then i really got into the other tracks like politik, clocks and god put a smile etc. the latest album to me is another step up again and at first when i heard the tracks in march played at the kcrw show i didn't really get into them eg speed of sound, what if and white shadows. i really liked 'a message' but now i like all the songs. i know this sounds a bit OTT but to me every track the band has released seems to have something to offer (well it does to me anyway) :)
  19. will have a listen to that radiohead track
  20. high speed you really broke my heart
  21. thanks for posting your pics, they're great :)
  22. stevemah replied to fixyou41's topic in Coldplay Live
sometimes it just takes a while for bootlegs to surface. the North American Tour only started two weeks ago. I'm sure recordings of these shows will appear at some point in the future. most of the shows on the 'rush of blood to the head' tour were recorded so i would have thought these latest shows will be too, it just takes a bit of time :)
  23. maybe the drum sticks are will and they got a bit confused :)
