I have to admit that honestly I'm a little disappointed in ASFOS. It was hyped up to be the best song on Ghost Stories but it ended up being like Princess of China part two. Always in My Head or O is definitely going to be the best tracks on the album and although ASFOS didn't live up to the hype, it's still an alright song and I hope in the future Coldplay does a scaled back acoustic version for it.

So is this going to be Coldplay's Kid A album where they just go full on experimental and going to a new direction evidenced by Midnight?

Coldplay's Atlas delayed until September 6th WELP looks like we have to wait a little bit longer. I'm sure it's worth the wait. :\

For now, I doubt having occasional fans spring up at their doorstep isn't too obstructive during their recording sessions, but it's too early to really see how much of an impact or interference it has on them. If they really got tired of people coming up to the bakery, I would imagine the guys would most likely have a sign indicating that they're busy and need no interruptions. Perhaps even a security guard would be at the door. But for now I see no reason why fans shouldn't be able to take a mellow trip to the bakery if it's so easily accessible and the guys welcome fans with open arms. Again only time will tell, but for now it's not out of hand.

I'm gonna take a guess and say that we might get a new single by the end of the year which seems reasonable given that Christmas Lights was released December prior to MX

There doesn't need to be a coherent story with an album for it to be good. Moving to Mars was very quiet that built up as the song went along. I'm hoping the new album will contrast MX in that it won't be going for stadium booming sounds and bright lights, but with somber and quieter noise with nice acoustic sound.

So we can probably expect that LP6 won't be coming until sometime in 2014. You think we can expect a new song or EP this year or early next year? Christmas Lights was originally planned for MX and that was released during Christmas 2010. It's good to know that they're working hard :)
