  1. I HAVE TICKETS TO SEE THEM IN MANCHESTER JUNE 14th!!!!!!!!WOOOO *brushes down self* sorry  Actually, they had a tonne of problems with the presale on tuesday, I can't imagine how its going to cope with the general sale demand come the weekend...
  2. Interpol - Antics (based on the mp3links page at the top)
  3. I don't think they will be. I think that they'll end up playing Croke Park at least 24th & 25th and possibly 26th too.
  4. well it usually depends on what comes up at short notice. The few I have tickets for well in advance though are: Razorlight - Manchester Apollo - 04/02 - Not my favourite bands but I found some cheap tickets Feeder - Manchester Apollo - 26/03 - Great band live and their new album is great U2 - City Of Manchester Stadium - 14/06 - 'Nuff said. Actually, depends on my advance order code working tomorrow. It better. :/
  5. Radiohead? It surprised me to see so many votes for them. Led Zeppelin, by far the best sounding band ever, never released a single, some of the most memorable sounds/tunes ever (Dazed & Confused, Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love etc) and a singer with a voice nearly as uniquely brilliant as Freddy Mercury (Queen would come second BTW).
  6. Clocks & Amsterdam
  7. Sarah McLachlain (or however its spelt) is Canadian right? Possession and Fumbling Towards Ecstasy are both great songs, especially the piano-only version of the former
  8. not counting 'best of's 1. U2 - How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb 2. Jet - Get Born 3. Interpol - Antics 4. Keane - Hopes & Fears 5. Snow Patrol - Final Straw
  9. 2 great bands the manics (and one dubious one) the pre 95 punk-rock with superbly deep lyrical content the 95-04 indie-rock with fantasic musical genius and the 04+ apparently, not my personal favourite of their stuff but better than a lot of things you hear on the radio i saw them in manchester last month, still excellent in concert, anyone going to the tsunami appeal should get a great show from them
  10. i dont like them - a couple of songs are great, californication and otherside - but on the whole, especially in the new stuff, lyriclly they let themselves down and their musical style is getting boring now too to be honest
