I will attempt Warning Sign. To me it is about that failed chance with someone you wished you had taken. Be that with a girl or a close friend or whatever. "You were an island and I passed you by." That sums it up for me. You noticed it but you didn't take advantage. You feel like you need to tell someone about it, "Come on in, I've got to tell you what a state I'm in." And eventually you admit you were wrong or you failed somehow, "So I crawl back into your open arms." I'm not one for really deeply analysing Coldplay's songs but I like thinking about them sometimes. Warning Sign is one of my all time favourites so that is my little view about it. Hope it helps... :D
