Coldplay is kind of an unpredictable band, but you're probably right. I wish that they would give X&Y another chance. Maybe perform some of it's songs (other than Fix You) on their LP7 tour.

I can't believe that nobody has started a thread about this. I think that to celebrate X&Y's 10th birthday, Coldplay should perform X&Y in it's entirety from start to finish (including Twisted Logic). X&Y was a milestone year for Coldplay, as it was their first album to top the American charts. :)

I Think that by their 20th birthday they should release a greatest hits compilation and just tour in support of it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Coldplay was performing, but not with Rhianna.

If LP7 is coming out by the end of this year, then they have to be headlining Glastonbury, it's how it worked with AROBTTH and Mylo Xyloto. :)

Why do people think that this album is going to be out THIS YEAR. 2016 makes more sense, and they need more time to work on it. Plus, if it were to come out Q4 2015, they would be headlining a festival, as they did with Mylo Xyloto.

Guys, I need some help, ever since I started listening to Keane, I started to feel that Coldplay is losing it for me. But I don't want to think that, I think that Coldplay is extremely talented and always pushing the boundaries of the music industry. It's just that when I found out that they might be doing another song with Rhianna, I feel betrayed. I loved all of Coldplay's albums, including Mylo Xyloto which I didn't like as much as their other stuff but still like. If there's anything I can do, please, don't hesitate to tell me. :)

I honestly think they when downhill when they fired Ken Nelson. Not that Brian Eno was a bad thing for Coldplay, after all he gave them their first #1 single.

Atlantic Records, also known for Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, pissing off "Weird" Al Yankovic, and most recently, COLDPLAY :D :D :D :D.

Twenty One Pilots is really growing on me, i'm a huge fan of synth based music. :)

Holy Fire was amazing, I can't wait to see what Foals has planed for their next album (I hope it comes out this year by the way). Who here thinks that Foals should support Coldplay on their next tour?

Coldplay could seriously win this award, it may be pretty tough to beat One Direction, but remember that rock music is more popular in Britain than it is in America. And that Coldplay put more time and effort into Ghost Stories than 1D put into FOUR.

2016!!!!!!!!! It just seems more likely than 2015. 2017 had they toured under Ghost Stories.

I think the Brits are going to be all over Sam Smith this year. :P

Not to mention the fact that rock music is more popular in Britain than it is in America.

Just as I predicted, this year will be the first year that Coldplay is up against One Direction for Best British Group. I would hate to see 1D win this year, the fact that the British music industry would chose a Teen-Pop Boy Band over one of the biggest rock bands in the world is beyond me.

I know that back when Coldplay was still promoting X&Y, Justin Timberlake stated that he wanted to do a song with the band, I would actually love to see that in A Head Full of Dreams.

You're right, I admit to liking pop music, I've talked about The Script on this forum before. I guess I was just worried about getting a Mylo Xyloto sequel. But I respect Coldplay for moving with the times, it's just like what Radiohead started doing about 14 years ago. And it was how I felt when I first heard Midnight. BTW, the only gripe I had with PoC was that Chris Martin didn't get much of a part in it, but that was just because the song was originally meant for Rhianna and only Rhianna to sing it, but the band wanted to keep it. This new song was meant for the band, so I hope that Chris gets more of a part in it.

Exactly, it seems like Chris is not listening to us. :cry:

As of December 2014, Keane is my new favorite band.
