I HATE hearing people saying "This is not Coldplay". I mean ... You are not (these people) the one who decide what Coldplay is meant to be. It is their band. Sure, the band could, would and surely change throughout the years, and it might not be the Coldplay you used to know and love. But still, IT IS COLDPLAY. And I am so glad they're trying to move forward, express themselves without doing the same songs over and over again. This is one of the main reason I love Coldplay so much. And I thought most of you people understood that with the breathtaking interview of Chris yesterday. Coldplay will always be Coldplay

I do not agree with that. OK, they do need a loud and commercial "hit" for each album such as Paradise, Viva la vida ... BUT, with what I've heard yesterday night on Zane Lowe's BBC interview of Chris... I don't feel like they've done a single song for a commercial purpose. AT ALL ! I really feel like this album is a piece of each member's heart, that they've put together and mixed up to create something entirely honest, and unique. It's okay if you people don't agree with me, this is just my point of view. But I hate being told this upcoming album will be "commercial". It's definitely not :)

Well I'm proud of you ! haha :) I've been crying a bit too, but it was a whole context with Chris starting to tear up and saying how tricky it was for him to listen to this one.

This interview was really moving to me. I felt like his divorce was still a hard subject to talk about. And gooood I'm straight but his voice is so smooth, so ... unique

Hello dear friends Coldplayers throughout the world. My name's J-B (Jean-Baptiste, but the last person who called me that is ten feet underground by the time you're reading this post :laugh3: ) I'm 24, soon turning 25 and I'm a Game Designer ( I litteraly create video games) and I'm currently trying to move to Canada so I can settle there and work there. I've been listening to Coldplay since the very beginning of the band, and I litteraly CAN'T spend a day without listening at least 1 song of them. It's like a drug, but without all the inconvenients of cocaïne ! I know you people see exactly what I'm saying there. ;) I really hope I will get to know some of you because the one thing that brought me here is that I felt like I needed to share my joy, my love and excitement for the band with other people that do love them, just like I do. So I believe a presentation's fine, but a presentation with a photo so you could put a face on my smile (woops, sorry I was listening to GPASUYF hahah), so you could put a face upon my nickname Joueur Froid, which is litteraly COLD PLAYER, in french, is better !!!
