Dark journey through Another's Arms. Cooled down on Oceans. Started to live again in A Sky Full of Stars. Now how cool is that? :)

It keeps growing! I didn't like it at first but it fits nicely on this album!

The best opener so far. Other songs had their flaws but this one isn't.

I always thought of this song would sound like Parachutes but it turns out otherwise. None of the tracks sounded like it which is to me, is good. Ghost Stories has its own unique sound and Oceans is one of them! The hidden part was just crazy, prepping yourself for A Sky Full of Stars ;)

For me, I actually didn't wanna compare to their previous album. This album is unique by itself, they never done this before, eletronic drums, blazzing synthesizer, packed and less lyrics, sincere musics, superb concept album. But then if I compare them with the previous album, a lot of flaws we would find. Kinda like a standalone album from Coldplay. A kind of album which I care for every track, I won't skip a track, the album tells you a great story about fixing relationships.

Listened to the whole album, pretty much Another's Arms studio version fits perfectly in the album! It is even my personal favorite of all tracks!

No. Jonny boy did that on purpose. To give that heartbroke moments towards the next track which is Midnight.

Yeah kinda agree but it fits somehow throughout the album. I was actually mad for Another's Arms of not putting more Jonny and Will but it turn out the atmosphere just kills it. Its too deep arghhh!! But yet live version would do the favor if people didn't like the overproduced musics.

No-Will album although he played it on drum pad. But hey, I'm pretty sure he had the reasons for it.

Hey guys, my name is Ulwan Mokhtar, a Muslim born and raised in Malaysia. I am actually a die hard fan since AROBTTH era (but a bit late 2003 I think) and that time I was 11 years old. Was raised by their old sounds but now grew and found no problem with their new musics at all. I enjoyed the 2012 Live blu-ray so much that it inspired me a lot to be cheerful instead of being a lone person. But at the time Ghost Stories came, a lot of reminisces going on through me remembering how the old me used to be and that is why I think the new album would be my number one album of Coldplay (which previously was AROBTTH).

I have hopes for that, too. Drums are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better

They had their reasons for applying electronic percussion, I guess.. Somehow we have to hear the full album to understand why they putted like that. Same goes when Kanye West did with auto-tune approach and he had a good reason to that which represents the sound of heartbreak. And it did pretty well!

I must say, such a different experience with both album and live version. I love them both, and I do thought of it being over-processed, too pop-ish sound but I do think it suits perfectly in terms of one album. Great one!

I love it! I don't want it to be like the live (I know, i like it too, but save it for the live moment! Go to their concert!), plus is like the modern version of Parachutes, and this album predates that very well :)

So the album does named from one of their songs, only without the plural (ies). Ghost Story. I would love to hear it!

Maybe this song would replace the last live track which is Every Teardrop is a Waterfall. I love it!

Now that is one fantastic live! Still a weird way for Will not using his drum on the album though..
