  1. It was definitely perfect for GS. But the thing is I don't like how it was tied with True Love. Should have been a long fade out of True Love then a long fade in for Midnight. It would have been a spooky experience especially hearing it in the midnight!

This song was just epic, it tends to close GS chapter quiet well without spoiling the Ghost mood on the original track list. Therefore I love Ghost Story from being one of the last track to the Target's edition.
  3. I don't give a damn if it was low anyway. I love it. My number 1 album of all time.
  4. 1. Ghost Stories 2. A Rush of Blood to The Head 3. Parachutes 4. Viva La Vida/MX 5. X&Y I hope for another continuation album for both VLV/MX. It sounded so good but the track list doesn't seem to connect to each other. I love an album that had chemistry between songs so I could have enjoyed it without skipping any of the track (like GS just did). I love MX, and I certainly thought X&Y was too damn repetitive but as had spawned a great single and played great and radio.
  5. Exactly. That's why I am so passionate about this album!
  6. It'll be too much for me. Or else someone would do a full auto-tune album like Kanye West did.
  7. Personally haunting and motivating! I love this album for the first listen because it tells you a pretty good honest story and the flows between songs are just superb! From the first part (AIMH until True Love) was kinda like a happy-frustrating feelings but until the 2nd part (Midnight to Oceans) turns out to a darker tone and that was something that Coldplay has never even done before. And there goes the ASFOS that completely tells us to keep on supporting that girl we love even we are separated and there goes the epic conclusion, O (Fly On). That song pretty much sums up that love are pretty much like that, there would never be a a beautiful bird if you don't know how to approach them. 9/10. For a first listen. 9.5. For eternity! And of course with the bonus tracks.
  8. I'm sensing that LP7 would be coming in fast, maybr late 2015 or early 2016!
  9. Where to find the full set list for the NBC Special Sunday?
  10. I hoped for that as well. Was hoping too high during the MX era.
  11. I would buy GS (Part 2) where Chris realized that it wasn't merely his fault of struggling with his wife. All Your Friends/Ghost Story pretty much had that tone and theme. Would love to hear more!
  12. It was more of mainstream criticism, which would explain the negativity of them reviewers but not for Billboard, those boys totally understand the purpose of Ghost Stories, thus giving GS a fair positive 85/100. Check out the review, they totally understand!

It doesn't fit as a whole album. But as a single track/live performance Jonny's guitar is a must! But it takes time for me to understand that after a gazilion times of hearing Ghost Stories back-to-back. Pretty much Chris's voice was intended to be gritty and there's no need for guitar playing moments, just a wet-styled and a simple acoustic playing song would suffice.
  14. Such sweater. Wow. >.<
  15. Just wondering. Does it ever played even once in any live performance?
  16. Studio version matches the dark tone of the album. After Midnight until ASFOS, Chris wanna express his heartbroken feelings so he didn't wanna make it too much of a mainstream voice, he sang with gritty voice instead (have a listen to Oceans, the same kind of voice). And the 'vanishing' piano/guitar I would say he had purpose on it in which he tried to fix the relationship but the method he chose doesn't work. And this is why I love Ghost Stories. Every elements of song had its purpose and it fits perfectly.
  17. Don't get me wrong but I would love to hear MX 2.0. I would. That album deserved a second chance, a proper storytelling and a smooth transition from song to song. At first I heard MX was ok but after the 2nd part of the track it becomes inappropriate much. An album is like a book, there's no chance of understanding it if you skip one page or two. Plus the energy that Coldplay had gave through live performance were awesome!
  18. Yep. This was like my first album that I cared for every single track. A good album tells a very good solid story plus in a smooth transition between songs was a big plus. This wasn't present much on Coldplay (MX tried it but I think it could be improved a lil bit)
  19. I don't think the hidden track was called FlY On. It was O with the Apple part. See O Reprise. It wasnt Fly On Reprise.
  20. Personal album always scores low. It wasn't for mainstream release so not everyone would understand what they wanted to tell.
  21. That was beautiful! Can't wait for the full version

Hopefully the next album would be like this. Such a classic tone!
  23. That are some nice wallpapers ya'll made! Thank you!
