I wanna listen to it so bad and its on Apple Music I think and I'm subscribed to that but I also really don't wanna spoil the whole album... I'm so indecisive

I mean in your opinion I suppose. Ive realized that I kinda really enjoy the criticism. I mean positivity is great and don't get me wrong only negativity is absolutely horrible too, but constructive criticism gives insight on where coldplay is lacking and doesn't make this an adoring two- dimensional fanbase that adores everything that the band does no matter what. It sorta makes things interesting because you realize that everybody doesn't have to be like minded to be a Coldplay fan, and yet we all share that common interest even though we have different opinions :laugh3: Super deep but just on my mind... and I haven't even listened to Everglow

^^ well I can understand your point, but music wise I think their sound is always changing. I do agree that VLV was a brilliant album, and honestly I dislike X&Y a lot. I mean go ahead and Oldplay on, everybody can think what they want :)

I agree with that, but sometimes it seems otherwise. Though, I think Coldplay are pretty darn good at reinventing themselves.

Aw thank you... I don't know if I'm super into the 'Stargate' but I mean on this forum if some people say it's average, then it's probably actually good

Does someone wanna explain to me this whole 'world record' thing... I don't really wanna spoil Everglow for me until the album comes out, but I'm getting really confused

I haven't even heard Everglow, but I mean, not every song is an absolute masterpiece! I don't need every song to be AMAZING, and please don't tell me that all of Coldplay's older works were amazing because they weren't all hits and definitely weren't all exceptional!! Personally, I understand that you guys miss the old Coldplay, and I also completely understand that you have a right to your opinion, but I think a lot of you are completely denouncing their new songs because they aren't exact copies of Parachutes songs, which I think is totally wrong!! I think you should listen with an open mind and even if it still isn't up to your standards, understand that if Coldplay was still making Parachutes copies they probably would be immensely criticized for their work and you would all probably be vouching for a change instead.

That song is a masterpiece to me though :) Haven't listened to Everglow yet though, don't think I want to really... I wanna save it for the album, right now I can't really tell what the overall mood this forum has to this song... I'm guessing it's just... Average?
