That is an interesting way of thinking of it, but he still does wear hats when not with Coldplay. He has the choice to take off his hat, and used to perform without one until he started going bald. Uh, so, it sorta makes sense that him balding and his obsessive hat wearing are linked. And ya, it is kinda different than wearing a spangled shirt, because he does wear hats when not with Coldplay. He doesn't change out of it once the show is done. His hat is definitely more that just a costume. It's not like he puts on a hat before he goes onstage, he's seen with it offstage and out and about too. In reality it's like comparing apples to oranges. Somewhere in this thread there is a video of Jonny, by himself, at a soccer game, and is wearing a hat. Nowhere is he a part of a band, he's just enjoying a game... With a hat on, coincidentally the same type of hat he wears on stage. Sure, maybe he 'just suddenly had' a massive impulse to wear hats all the time, because it fit the bands mood, for some odd reason, JUST as he began to go bald- wow- Jonny's timing must be impeccable! It's always nice to debate over completely irrelevant things isn't it?

Will's bald, and I doubt anybody cares if Jonny wears a hat or not. If it's the 'vibe' he wants to create, it's basically another way of saying he's self-conscious. Y'know, because it's his image that he's aware of, and wants to modify blah blah blah... Also, I'm pretty sure the few hatless pictures of him are outside the band because he's in the public eye when he's in/ with/ playing gigs with the band. Obviously the more people are watching the more reason to be self-conscious. Really though, who cares, Jonny can do what he wants, as long as he still wears hats.

He is a pretty good player. Federer is my favourite out of all, not because of personality, but because of his pure skill and style. I've never liked Djokovic, he just has never settled well with me. There's just something about him that I can't put my finger on that I really dislike. Murray is OK, I have nuetral feelings about him. Of course you like the top players, they are the best of course!

So I now made a thread for the French Open. My needs are fulfilled.

So, after realizing that there isn't a thread for Roland Garros, or tennis in general. I thought it would be nice to discuss a bit about the tournament. I really hope I'm not the only avid tennis fan on here... First of all, I am really pumped that both Raonic and Bouchard are in the round of 16! Neither of them are especially good on clay, and it's always amazing to see that Canada actually has some tennis players. It would take a miracle for Raonic to win, but Bouchard has a pretty good chance, especially with Williams out. (Which was the oddest thing of the whole tournament so far) Djokovitch is not playing his best at all, which is actually quite good, because I love Nadal soooooo much- but I like Federer more. He is so good for his age. Also, as much as I previously stated I love Raonic, the big 4 in the quarter finals would be amazing. What are your opinions?

I find that absolutely adorable. It's actually really sweet. He pulls the look off quite well. That thing about the hair growth is actually quite amusing. I really wonder if he has any left!
