  1. I've always wanted to hear a good cover of Reign of Love on the MP9000.
  2. I've spent a while trying to figure this out. Here's what I've come up with so far... I'm not really sure if the chord names or accurate... Tuning: EADGBD Capo: 1 Chord names are based off of the sound of the chord with the tuning mentioned above not including the capo. Em7: 022000 Aadd4: X02220 Bm7: X20230 Bm: 799550 Aadd4*: 577650 G: 355400 Gadd9: 355005 Gaddb9: 355004 Bm7*: X20232 [Verse] Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 Oh, angels sent from up above Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 You know you make my world light up Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 When I was down, when I was hurt Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 You came to lift me up Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 Life is a drink, and love's a drug Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 Oh now I think I must be miles up Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 When I was hurt, withered, dried up Em7 Aadd4 Bm7 You came to rain a flood [Pre-Chorus] Bm Aadd4* Bm So drink from me, drink from me G Em7 When I was so thirsty Bm Add4* Bm Pour on a symphony B Em7 Now I just can't get enough Bm Aadd4* Bm Put your wings on me, wings on me G Em7 When I was so heavy Bm Add4* Bm Pour on a symphony G Aadd4* When I'm lower, lower, lower, low [Chorus] Gadd9 Gaddb9 Aadd4 Bm I, oh I, Oh i G I'm feeling drunk and high Aadd4 Bm7 So high, so high (Whoo!)
  3. I'm struggling with figuring out Pour Me. I can't find decent chords for it. For the verse, I'm playing Am, Em, F, Am* and G (my tabs are below). I just can't figure out the chorus. I was messing around on the piano, and came up with C, D and Am... but I really don't think that's it. Does anyone have any suggestions? The chorus is quite odd... Am Em F Am* G ---------------------- E| 5 5 1 0 3 A| 7 7 3 0 5 D| 7 5 3 2 5 G| 5 7 2 2 4 B| 5 0 1 1 3 E| 0 0 1 0 3
  4. While on the topic of Jonny's guitar effects, does anyone have any ideas of what he does for the bird sounds in O?
  5. Sounds really good! Would you be willing to share the actual midi file?
  6. Has anyone figured out anything for how to play Hipnotised yet? I'm trying to figure it out on piano. So far, in my left hand, I'm playing an F octave, then an F chord (FAC). Then an A and E followed by a D octave and a D minor chord (DFA). Next I play an A and E followed by an A# octave. Then I think it's an F octave with an F chord again? Followed by an inverted E minor chord perhaps? Not quite sure. Then for some reason, the part in the left hand is really messing me up. It seems really simple, but I just can't tell if there's 3 notes being played, or 4. At first I was thinking it was just "FACA", but now I'm starting to think it's "FGAC". Does anyone have any suggestions for what it could be? Edit: So if I use the FGAC progression, then it would be FGAC, then FGAD. After that, I think it's just a stretch to do FGAF followed by FGAE.
  7. I'm really interested on what Miracles 2 is going to be like. It could just be a rework of the original, or possibly a sequel? Any thoughts?
  8. It's not too bad. Pretty catchy. Pretty much what I expected. Beautiful vocals though ;)
  9. Really wish I could join you all. Sounds like fun! My weekends are pretty busy as well.
  10. No, they're not my videos. Just really useful videos. I think they sound most like the actual versions.
  11. I've got quite a few guitar songs that are fun to play. I really like Green Eyes. It doesn't require any barre chords, and is a good beginner one. You just need a capo if you want to play it in the same key. (Beginner Version: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/green_eyes_ver2_crd.htm Version I Made: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/green_eyes_acoustic_ver4_crd.htm) You could also try Warning Sign. The acoustic version uses a lot of the same chord shape (Beginner Version: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/warning_sign_ver2_crd.htm Acoustic Version: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/warning_sign_acoustic_crd.htm) If you're up for more of a challenge, you could try Sparks. The way I play it, it still doesn't have any barre chords, but requires you to retune the high E string, and requires a capo. This is how I play it: Another one of my favorites to play, is We Never Change. It's another more difficult one because you have to use your thumb to play the low E, and also requires you to retune the high E string. It's still not that hard though imo. This is how I play it: EDIT: The version of Green Eyes I made got approved on Ultimate-Guitar: https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/coldplay/green_eyes_acoustic_ver4_crd.htm
  12. Are you talking about tabs for the song Fun by Coldplay? Or tabs that are fun to play?
  13. Hello. I really love the guitar sound heard in Parachutes, and want to possibly replicate it as best as I can. Does anybody happen to know anything about it? All I've found out so far, is that it's a Vicente Tatay Tomas guitar. Here are some questions I'm wondering about it. Does anybody happen to know the year, or what kinda of strings are on it? It looks like it's a classical guitar. Does that mean it was recorded with nylon strings, or did Chris put steel on it? Also, if anyone has one, it'd be cool if you could let me hear a recording of a Parachutes song on it. Bonus points if it's We Never Change (fav on the album). Thanks for any info anyone can provide!
  14. I found sometime ago that appears to be Johnny Cash singing 'Til Kingdom Come. I know the song was originally written by the band for Johnny Cash to sing, but as far as I know, it never got recorded. What do you all think? Could it be Johnny Cash? There's a lot of debate in the YouTube comments. If it's not Johnny Cash, does anyone know any information about Johnny Cash and 'Til Kingdom Come? Is there any possibility that Johnny Cash may have recorded a version at any point in time? Did he even get to hear the song?
