I can see why they would be upset about it because it is an object they believe deeply represents what they stand for. At first when I heard this it bewildered me because I didn't understand the extent of disrespect one could cause by simply holding a flag in a certain way. I can understand burning it, destroying it completely or walking all over it, but I'm very sure Chris's intent was not to deface national property. At this point he might have to issue a public apology, get a lawyer and pay a fine off probably. First Hymn for the Weekend's little dispute and now this- what a streak. Also I have to add- lovely picture they chose of him [emoji106]

I have a weird relationship with that song. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I like it cause it's funny when you read the lyrics out loud sometimes or take them out of context. Plus it's got a nice bop.

Oh man I love dream stuff, it's one of my only escapes from reality. I've never had precognitive dreams or sleep paralysis but I've had plenty of lucid ones that I've induced by using certain techniques. I've had too many Coldplay related ones in my opinion.

Ehhhh I think they might try to slowly come back in by dropping a few hints after the hiatus and silencing themselves for a bit to build the anticipation and then springing out, cause hype is gonna draw in people. They're gonna start a new album cycle and I feel like they may go back in the pop route again but put a new spin on it to some degree, since they can experiment but I doubt they'll span too far for their standards of experimentation unless something motivates them to go to viva level experimental again (cause back then they really needed a kick for that). Then again they have a lot more self confidence than they've ever really had at this point and just want to do what they want to do, so we may get something a little "off". They could be a little more daring with more power and control over their own career and influences. Also because of Chris's rather philosophical pursuit of mindfulness and stuff we might get ideas related to the true nature of life and wise reflection- like an old sage- rather than just sappy love, adventurous hope and intense optimism or extreme over analyzing of the unknown and tension, because now they've settled down too. It's pretty farfetched but if they last long enough I wonder if they'll be put in (or at least nominated) for the rock and roll hall of fame in the future. I know it's usually reserved for legends with greater musical influence (and maybe integrity) but since the relative standard of music shifts constantly, decades from now I feel like it's a possibility.

Lately I've been wearing my Coldplay tshirt around along with the love button not only out of the fan pride but because they're bat signals for Coldplay fans. I didn't expect it but so far a few people have come up to me about the band and we talked about the concert or they just liked the shirt and button. The unfortunate part is that I'm the only deeply devoted fan where I am and everyone else is just casual but otherwise it's just great to meet people that actually admit to liking them, cause it seems like a rarity sometimes.

I would be inclined to think that the probability of meeting another Coldplay fan of the same standards would less than the probability of meeting the band itself (4/ approximately 7,344,000,000) maybe five if you include Phil. And I think any crazy fan of any thing has to entertain the same thought. And it's weird to think that they by population standards are cool, but by individual feelings they aren't. "The kings of uncool" But what does cool mean anyway. It's almost like it's abnormal for someone to say "I'm so normal and I fit in with the group" cause honestly who would say that.

I was blessed to have a dream about them last night. Actually it's strange cause the past few nights have had some sort of hint of them. One night I saw Jonny with a bunch of piercings in his face cause he was into some more grungy aesthetic. But during the dream last night the moment I looked out my window and they all had their heads stuck in some weird holes in the ground or something and instead of helping them I wanted to take a picture (real helpful right). I guess I'm lucky cause I get to see them frequently lol
