THE OFFICIAL INDIUM THREAD

Featured Replies

You're right :idea2: :D

"Indium is a chemical element in the periodic table that has the symbol In and atomic number 49. This rare, soft, malleable and easily fusible poor metal, is chemically similar to aluminum or gallium but looks more like zinc (zinc ores are also the primary source of this metal). Its current primary application is to form thin-films for use as lubricated layers (during World War II it was widely used to coat bearings in high-performance aircraft)."

ah see I did actually pay attention in science! :idea2: :stunned:

Me too...especially Chemisty, but I've forgotten it all now

yeah I only do biology now so everything else is gone out the window but it's amazing the little things that stick in the back of your head :stunned:

Do you like Biology?

All my mates who did it at A-Level hated it :stunned:

yeah I don't mind it. It's prob my best subject but that's only because I have a sound teacher!

We had a major shortage of them in our school  :P

  well there's 2 teachers I really like in our school, one of them's my tutor who doesn't teach me a subject (I saw him at oxegen and he bought me a pint! That's how cool he is!) and biology teacher is the other 1 :)

Wow...what a cool teacher! Not only does he go to a hip and trendy festival like the dope kids, but he also buys you a pint :idea2: :D

yeah and he also took pics of me and my mates who are in my class and told us he's putting them up in our school :stunned:

Good thing I was hidden by my flag :sneaky:

  Ah it was very funny!

I also scared the crap out of 2 welsh girls by screaming out of my tent "WELSH" because they had the flag around them and my tent was partially closed so they couldn't see us :sneaky:

Did you shout "They're Scotish at Franz Ferdinand"? :P

no they kept saying it themselves! I think they said "we're from glasgow" about 5 times

very proud boys!

Did Alex introduce the band like he did at Glastonbury and T?

I didn't see T and have very vague memories of the glasto performance so please be so kind and refresh my memory :P

Alex from Franz Ferdinand introduced the rest of the band halfway through Michael at Glasto and T :idea2:

ah yes that's exactly what they did and Paul the drummer is a right little fox :wink3: :wink3:

Yeah! :idea2:

The guitarist Nicolas really looks like Rupert Everett I think :stunned:

he does a bit! He's a good singer :)

Yeah...I like it when other members of the band sing loud and proud (take note Will+Jonny :P )

 indeed will has a voice like an angel, a very cuddley angel  :P

I was listening to the live cd earlier and I had that on repeat for the ending  :P
