Clocks has amazing piano playing in it but I would have to say Amsterdam is the best piano song overall.

Clocks no doubt! maybe the best piano piece ever written. It's so simple, yet so..overwhelming!

The Scientist is my favorite...but I think Clocks is the best piano Coldplay has ever done. I'm just kind of sick of listening to that song, haha.

I also really like the end of Politik and Harmless.

Totally agree. "Trouble" and "The Scientist" and "Politik" are great too, but really it's not the riff or chord progressions themselves that make them great, it's the way they're integrated into the song and the way Chris sings over them. That's how it should be with pianos in pop music. If you try to play all sorts of fast notes and be Mozart you end up shit, like Emerson Lake & Palmer.

There are many great coldplay piano riffs but CLOCKS is definitely the best.

Clocks is definately liberating, but I'd have to tie it with Amsterdam and For You. When I play any of these songs I get lost in them.

Because of how deeply both songs move me...

It must be TROUBLE and my all-time-fav AMSTERDAM.

I absolutely LOVE the end part of Politik. Clocks is just amazing all the way through, and Amsterdam is just gorgeous. :D

Well, all the piano parts in the Coldplay songs are really great- i think thats what makes them so special. The whole first part of The Scientist is just piano.....

The piano is probably most awesome in Clocks, it's the only reason I liked that song in the first place....
