hey ren when you write/play/read music is it usually in standard notation?

i'm in a guitar class at school and it sucks cuz all we do is play songs in standard notation, tab is so much easier, SN is just more accurate

oh yeah tab is easier and it helps is u first wanna have an idea of what it would sound like the song u are writing ( if that's the case) but if u want to read music ( guitar, piano or whatever) its better in sn , its boring and pretty hard sometimes but as u said it ..it's more accurate
