Paranoid Android

Featured Replies

What do you think the meaning of this song is? It's got me baffled. :dizzy2: :dizzy2:

screw the meaning, its a bloody class song and thats it :P

its about confusion

confusing isn't it :blank:

I heard that Thom Yorke had three different songs that he didn't know what to do with, so he just put them together (inspired by The Beatles' "Happiness Is A Warm Gun") and came up with Paranoid Android (the greatest song ever made).

I don't know if this bears any relevance to the song, but a character in 'A Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy' (a book by Douglas Adams) was referred to as being a "Paranoid Android", so it's possible that the song could be about this book.

In honestly I could take a slice of my time to analyse this song to figure out what it means, but I really can't be arsed (and I'd rather not know what it means, because it would ruin the mystery of the best song ever made)

yeah it would ruin the mystery.

that's like wanting to know what the guy says in the 'Just' video.

it'll just never happen.

it's about trendy farm animals :idea2:

i dont really try to figure out what thom tries to express in his lyrics.

it could be puzzling . i think the melody is good enough to let me feel what he wants to express
