Live in Louisville [10 Mar 2003]

Featured Replies

Great show by Coldplay last night in Louisville! I normally "record" shows, but made the mistake of leaving my recording device at home on my desk and kicked myself for all night!

Coldplay finished with two new songs: Add to the Moon (?) and Proof. Chris actually performed Proof solo on acoustic guitar as a second encore.

If anyone knows someone the recorded I would love to get a copy!

All I have to say is that this concert was the best I have been to... There was so much energy!! It was just awesome.. Those guys are great performers!!!!! :-D I love the fact that they actually sound just like the cd.. I hate going to see bands and they sound nothing like the cd and suck completely.. I would pay twice as much as I did for this concert to see them again.. I would drive anywhere to see them.. Great guys!! If you haven't seen them in concert.. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? :o :o :o  :? :o They are great.. I can not wait for the new cd to come... These guys will be around for a while.. Great show!!!!

Wow!! Sounds awesome!! I haven't heard about "Add to the Moon" but i did hear someone mention proof... I'm not sure where you could get it, but you could try http://www.justspies.com - that site usually has some cool audio..

By the way, Welcome to the board Louisville and Hoobacus! I'm Laura! :-D

The moon song was actually called "Ladder to the Sun."

As for recordings of the show... I don't know if there were any tapers in the audience, but I do know that a Louisville radio station aired the concert live and then rebroadcast it after the show. The station was 91.9 (I think... I don't know the call letters), and it was also webcast. With that... there is a good chance that someone recorded it off the air. I wouldn't know how to find a copy though. You could maybe call the station.

It was a great concert! One of the best I've ever seen by anybody. 91.9 WFPK did air the show: 1st live, 2nd 30-minutes after the show, and a 3rd time a few days later. I'm hoping that they'll air it one more time so I can get a good copy. I think you can listen to the station live on the web. Check their website and maybe you'll get lucky. I've already emailed them once asking them to replay the concert. In their reply, I pretty much got a "maybe." http://www.wfpk.org
