Well it doesnt really concern me since im in Canada, but i heard from somewhere that they are not really small gigs? The band said they would be and now theyre not? Hmm thats interesting. I hope they will announce the Canada and US dates soon after! I have to go to a show in Toronto!

Hm.. I've read the Q&A's at coldplay.com and the news are supposed to be announced tomorrow. So, I guess we just have to be patient.

arrgh, that means just another day of constantly waiting anxiously at the computer, and whenever the little messenger thing pops and says new email i flip out and then get dissapointed..... i don't know how much more i can stand. :(

well i think i got IT the thing we've all been waiting for and yea it's simply more info about the UK tour dates that we got emailed from here earlier today and info for ticket presale along with a statement that the album will be released in June and the never ending futher information will be released soon line. but i must say i'm wholly dissapointed, i guess all that anticipation had me hoping for some big amount of info, even though i expected just those UK dates when that other email arrived but bleh maybe next time when they do this they will give us just the one day to wait and not streach it out over a weekend to kill us with anticipation.

Dunno.. maybe we'll get album info lateron this week. These UK dates leave space for an anticipated Dutch date on June 26th and a Belgian Rock Werchter festival date on july 2nd or 3rd, for instance. So it leaves all options open for me at this point :)

yea, i was thinking it would be awesome if there was a way for me to see them over in europe this summer, seeing how i'll be over in Greece for the whole month of July, but i just don't think it's gonna be likely that i'll be leaving any earlier than necessary, but i might stay after a couple weeks into august but by then they should be done in europe so the opportunity would be missed i bet....

COLDPLAY PRESALE for UK Tour Summer 2005

 

Coldplay will perform their biggest UK headline shows to date when they begin their 2005 world tour with a series of outdoor concerts this summer. They will play two nights at Crystal Palace Athletics Stadium in London, two nights at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, and a night at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. Each venue holds approximately 30,000 people.

 

Coldplay are understandably very excited by the prospect of these huge shows. "We've spent a long time in the studio and haven't played a gig for eighteen months", says Coldplay guitarist Jonny Buckland, "so we can't wait to get out on tour and play our new songs live."

 

The UK dates mark the start of Coldplay's biggest ever world tour, details of live dates outside of the UK will be released over the coming weeks.

- How many tickets you want for that show (the maximum you can request is 4)

 

Tickets will then be allocated to as many members as the presale allows. Members will then be notified by e-mail on Thursday 3rd or Friday 4th March detailing how many tickets they have been allocated to their requested show. Members then have 24 hours from receiving their confirmation e-mail to make payment.

 

The members that we can not allocate tickets to will also be notified via email. We will then try to give them priority access to the presale for the next UK dates (if any).
