Speculation over COLDPLAY’s forthcoming album has increased, with the emergence of a possible tracklisting.

 

Although the album ‘X&Y’ is due out on June 6 and singer Chris Martin has told NME.COM he’s still tinkering with the record, The Sun have revealed a possible eleven song tracklist for the album.

 

‘X&Y’ could include:

 

‘Square One’

‘What If’

‘White Shadows’

‘Fix You’

‘X&Y’

‘Speed Of Sound’

‘A Message’

‘Low’

‘Let’s Talk’

‘Swallowed In The Sea’

‘Twisted Logic’

 

The journalist from the UK Newspaper The Sun is saying she has heard the album and it is a masterpiece.

hm.. "Let's talk"? That sounds a lot like "Talk", which is a song that's def. not on the album...

I dont see "The Hardest Part" on there.If thats the real track list then im guessin B-side???

Has it actually been confirmed that its not on the album though? She heard it at EMI HQ so that more or less tells you that the album has been mixed and people are being invited to listen to it. I'd say that tracklisting is almost certainly correct!! :)

The record company are saying different then. We'll see. I'll only believe it when the official announcement is made which I'd imagine will be very very soon

Yeah its The Sun and its usually not fit to wipe your arse with but with things like this they normally get them right. And especially as they say they heard it at EMI HQ I have no reason to not believe them. We'll wait n see. Nothing to get excited about yet :lol:

someone on the official board reckons that Swallowed In The Sea is THe Hardest Part with a new name. But thats just speculation. Come to think of it, in the ezine Will said that they put some old names to new songs or something, and we would see some familiar bits, perhaps on the bsides then?

I thought the album had 12 tracks :confused:

we never knew for sure. all i know is that the last 2 albums had 11 tracks, so it seems likely.

HMV have confirmed "The Sun's" tracklisting........

On the official site someone asked a question about Til' Kingdom Come,The Harsest Part,and Swallowed by The Sea. Debs said that they were all recorded and that The Hardest Part and Swallowed by The Sea are 2 different songs.She also said that the tracklisting was not official and that she cant say which songs are on the album.So she knows!!

if she knows then it means the album is done and the tracklisting HAS been decided.

dont be too certain.. she only knows what she's been told.. things could change at the drop of a dime.... she doesnt work directly for Coldplay's label.... she's an A&R rep for another label.. ;)

 

but she IS good mates with the boys.. :cool:

but i think its safe to assume the album is done isnt it, i mean chris said 3 to 4 days and that was 2 to 3 weeks ago. i agree however, that this may not be the final tracklisting, but im pretty sure debs knows it.
