maybe the album cover too camille, its all relative.....thanks for doing that!

I'll have to look at the album cover again.. but I think it may be a bigger picture with the album... I really think the MTF logo has alot to do with it... ;)

thanks for the bling!

i think they just worked the letter codes so the mtf logo made it in there i mean i think my theory is dead on!

Wow that would take me years to work out lol i gave up after 5 mins even with the explination

i think i have done it, but now what, i emailed debs on the official site with no reply yet.......

Maybe this has already been pointed out, or maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the actual code... but I noticed a pattern in the colors. For example, Black and White make grey... grey is always in between a black and a white square. Red and Blue make Purple, and that is inbetween those two colors again. It also works on the full album cover. Maybe this has something to do with X&Y being the primary colors or black and white, and the secondary colors being a mixture of whats in the middle. Just a thought... let me know if it makes sense or if its already been shown that it doesn't.

Probably she's calling the guys and telling them "we've got to think about something else now!!!"

I think Coldplay will cry when they know that you've solved it!!!

Maybe they thought noone will ever be able to understand the meaning of it...

lol it was difficult and it wasnt like i was staring at it forever, rather it just happened.....it clicked and i saw a pattern..it all came to me in about 2 minutes. As soon as i realized the red line spaces were letters it all came! As for the band i hope they hear about this, and i get some feedback!

Yeah that color thing doesnt exactly work. (I meant mine, not owen's)

i think your theory works, but came after my theory......like once they made up letter combinations, they decided to also make it appear nice, and they decided to relate the colour transitions.....i mean if it was all random colours everywhere and not logical, it would be easier to figure out and not so visually appealling!

im so happy yet i feel a tremendous sense of nervousness.........i dont quite know why

I think its a combo of both theories.. ;)

as for Debs getting back to you, Owen.. give her some time.. she's a busy gal.. and will probably keep you in suspense... :sneaky: I wouldnt be surprised if she doesnt tell you you're spot on.. lol

thing is, there's four columns on the X&Y cover yet only three letters involved in X&Y.

i know but i had to tell someone, and if this really is a competition of any sort i think ive earned it...i mean nothing has proved my theory wrong so far, and everything i have said works out......and i know she is busy and i dont expect an immediate response, i just wanted to let her know. she does a great job and so much work.

hey can anyone find that photo from one of the secret gigs that was posted outside, and it had x and y with just the outer blocks? in that picture you will see that the one line represents x, and the other y........that leaves the middle to be &.

x_y.jpg

sorry its big.. but if my 'calculation is correct' perhaps the entire word 'and' is spelt here... ??

where do you see 2 columns?? I count 3 dashes..... oh wait.. I see what you mean... ampersand it the dash in the middle.. but it still doesnt match up...

can you find the picture from the amsterdam secret gig that was a banner hanging outside, i think it will show more of what i mean

i also reckon this is why they took the artwork with the red lines off the main site, because with just the blocks its impossible to figure out the code........since i nabbed the picture with the red lines it was easier for me to crack...

THANK YOU

so you see if you wrote out the entire alphabet you would be able to match each letter to a sequence of blocks like in the picture above! so it proves my theory also matches the album cover!

They've made their own language :o
