Color Code

Featured Replies

I don't no if it has been mentioned anywhere, but there is some logic in the codes on the covers of X&Y and Speed Of Sound.

The colors above the red line are already know, they're always black, grey, grey and white.

But the colors under the red line seem at first sight disordered, but after a half hour of thinking I discovered this:

You've to divide the six blocks in 3 pairs.

I noticed that the above pair is always red-orange or red-purple.

The lowest pair is always green-blue or purple-blue.

Now here's the thing:

If there's a red-orange part above, then the part in the middle is orange-yellow.

If there's not a red-orange part, then the part in the middle is yellow-green.

If there's a red-orange part and a green-blue part, then the part in the middle is orange-green.

If there's not a part in the middle, then the red-orange part becomes a red-purple part and the green-blue part becomes a purple-blue part.

I hope this explaining is a bit clear and I hope I don't fucked it up, but I think it's pretty good.

Black and white are opposites and red and blue are also opposites

and i discovered that only after a couple of years...

from that day on I kept on asking him if he sees purple trees or blue grass...or pink clouds...

I think he hated me!!!

Then we gave him a present for his birthday..and the present was inside a box half red and half green, with written on it the names of the colors inverted!!!

Yes but yellow and orange...or orange and red...?

mmmhhh....I think the opposites are the upper and the bottom part of the cover...

the black and white part and the coloued part.

well don't know what to think anymore...we'll see

I'm still waiting for the e-zine :D
