i don't know if i should bring extra money or not

i'm gonna bring a little cash, just in case. i'm doubting the selection will be all that grand.

Bring cash you lucky bastards! :P

...and show us pictures of all the merchandise you've bought tomorrow :D

well, just as i expected merch wasn't too great. i wish they had more selection for female sized tee's other then just the X&Y cover art.

i bought a button and one of the men's shirt and when i got home i just chopped it up into a cute off the shoulder number. ;)

i didn't get any merch except a poster (really nice one).

$40 for a shirt! that was as much as my ticket

^ tis true. i expected the tee prices to be around that price. it's worth it in my opinion.

I used to buy shirts at most of the shows that I went to. But I've stopped now, unless I really like the band because I hardly ever wear them, and they shrink pretty fast or are not my size.

in Boston they were $30, yeah i've seen them for like $50 and that is too much in my opinion.

The actually shirt is worth like $5, without the art on it.

$40? really??? i bought a cp t-shirt for $25.

Well remember, that's $40 CDN, so that's really like $32 USD. Still, OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE, but what can I say? I'm a sucker for Coldplay...

Are we talking actual worth of the shirt? Or are we talking how much the plain shirt goes for. They used American Apparel (at least the one I'm wearing has a tag) and tall their shirts are plain and still pretty expensive. Like, I think when I went in there (the one time) it was...$15 for a plain blue t-shirt. Correct me if I'm wrong, someone.

blaaaaaah blah. money's money! merch is expensive. i'm not surprised by how much they were charging and gladly paid it. i've been to shows where merch was waaaaay more. i'm sure we all have.

yeah, i could get a coldplay shirt off ebay for like 10 bucks, but it's just not the same. it wouldn't mean as much.

I got a free t-shirt at the buzz gig in Amsterdam with 'coldplay secret gig' on it. :)
